When I was two I ate half of a broken Christmas ornament, choked, and if it weren't for my Dad's kung-fu Heimlich maneuver I might be dead.

I had a tooth shatter into 6 pieces while eating Crispers... That was about 16 years ago, I have a fear of eating them ever since then. I also had a total of 8 teeth pulled out of my mouth (4 wisdom, 4 others).

I constantly have nightmares about my teeth falling out....

I have two more.

My dad's cousins are Tony and Phil Esposito. My Cousin, also played in the NHL. I wasn't good enough.

When I was 4 or five, I fell in my Aunt's pool when nobody was around, I was found floating face down and unconcious. I was pulled out by my hair, because it was longish, and my mom, who was a lifeguard when she was young, CPR'd my ass back to life.

I'm really and truly, super-fucking awesome.

Oh, and when I was 12, I deeked Mark Laforest out of his shorts and scored on him.

My father played professional soccer in Germany before moving to Canada at 23.

when i was 15 i quit playing soccer....
at the time, i was on the Ontario National under 16 team and was freakin good.
I played with Dwayne DeRosario (toronto FC), and Julian DeGuzman (Canadian National Team)... and was better than them both.
Julian's dad pretty much begged me to continue playing because me and his son were awesome and we'd be able to push each other and grow to be professionals one day.

he still made it.
I regret quitting.

WOW.

When i was in my teens and played sports, i was OK. good enough for success in gym class, but nothing close for any real potential.

That's a pretty crazy fact about yourself, Insider.

Not sure if you know this or not (you didn't mention this) but Julian is now on TFC as their first ever designated player. He's the first guy on the team to make over a million salary wise. Not sure of the actual number.

When I was like 8 or 9 me and my cousin(who was fat at this time, when he was like 7, now hes not but whatever) were at my grandparents pool and my grandpa was talking it up with my dad not watching us. My cousin was an aggressive big asshole back then and he decided he was going to play piggyback in the pool. When you get a big fucker like him on a small fuckers back like me, well, the small fucker sinks. So there I was, 4 feet under water trying to get my head or hands above the water to get the attention of my family so I wouldnt die.

About 30 seconds later my dad finally sees me and tells my cousin to get the fuck off me. I barely survived.

A couple weeks later I decided I needed to get revenge, so when we were back there at my grandparents for dinner, I asked my cousin to come into the bedroom to watch some tv with me. I was really planning on just trying to beat the hell out of him, but since he sat on the edge of the bed right in front of the tv, I proceeded to push his head into the tv causing bleeding. My cousin was being a dick before the attempted drowning, so he needed to be taught a lesson. Maybe not something as extreme as putting his head through a tv, but it was an opportunity that I guess I couldnt pass up.

I was in the Bahamas when there was a celebrity poker tournament going on. I was on the same resort and was in the same casino as Michael Jordan, anna kournikova, brian urlacher and a bunch of poker pros.

A day or two before the tournament started my buddy walks up to joe hachem and says... OH MAN! you look JUST like joe hachem. And he was like yea... I get that alot. The next day we realize it WAS joe hachem and he was there for the tournament!

This was the same weekend that travolta's son died there on the island. Pretty crazy media there and stuff.

Also got to visit a bunch of celebrity houses there.. Will Smith's, Mic Jagger etc.
