I'll let you Canadians in on a little secret.... Oregon has the best beer, and this company is the reason why.

link: All Brews | Deschutes Brewery

Toby HIGHLY advises ya'll to try your senses with this company's blends

We don't get near enough us craft brews here thanks to an overly controlled market. We do see Rogue out here though. That's pretty nice.

Rogue is piss. Sam Adams is better then that hogwash.
There's so much more to beer then getting hammered. Talk to people, find some Deschutes.

I rarely get hammered. I'll definitely keep an eye out if i go south, or out west where the craft beers out there get a bit more play.

Ha! I just bought a couple of those a few hours ago. If you go to the main lcbo on queen's quay, you'll find a pretty good selection there, with a greater stock for everything. The one in bayview village is pretty good, as well as the one at bay and bloor and a few other bigger outlets.

I'm going down to the states in a couple weeks and look forward to loading up with stuff i can't get here.

Toby - which deschutes do you like the most?

Dogfish head is a must for me whenever i go down south. I've seen it a couple times here, but that only makes it worse the other thousand times it hasn't been stocked here. Brooklyn breweries is similar in that you see the lager here now, but their darker stuff is fantastic and of course nowhere to be seen.
