I like guys with salt & pepper hair. Unless they're assholes, then I don't.

After all the running around during Christmas, Boxing day shopping, and everything leading up to it, it'll be a quiet night at home with my Girlfriend.

Anyway, I started going grey at 25 and 5 years ago I started to dye it. When my face looks too old to support the illusion, I'll stop. I just hate the sight of it and no one I know is remotely as grey as I am. Fortunately, I have very little in my beard. Dying that is something I definitely wouldn't do.

I get lots of comments from women 30 and over who ask, "Why would you dye your hair!?" It's funny because they all dye theirs and probably have been for years, as a lot of women start going grey in their early 20's. I want to say, "Probably the same reason you dye yours!" but I'm a nice guy. Seriously though, I can't imagine saying that to someone considering I dye my hair. I wonder if some of them really think no one's aware of their coloured hair.
i've only dyed my goatee...i keep my hair fairly short so the grey is not really noticable...dark brown with a kind of a speckled grey look to it
like most men, i went thru a bit of an ego thing a few years back..in other words, i didn't want to admit to myself that i was getting on in years when my grey started to rapidly appear on my face..i dyed it on a regular basis but because i keep my goatee really short and trimmed, i was constantly redoing it and it was costing me a freakin fortune
i've come to accept the grey now...and to be honest i feel i've earned every one of them
but just because i'm getting a little older, it doesn't mean i can't have any fun..for many years now i go into the hairdresser at the beginning of spring and have my hair cut really short...then have it dyed platinum blonde

it's a spring (motorcycle) tradition that i plan to continue for many years to come

Well, that's a positive way to look at things. I'm a downer and I look at grey hair as the death of hair. Like, parts of my body are dying. So, dying my hair is kinda like makeup on a corpse.

No grey pubes yet though. When that happens, I will retire to a small cabin in the woods and cry.

I have several thoughts here:

1) Yes lists ARE awesome

2) Fuck those razors. Go buy a "five" razor from rexall. They are about half the price, have five blades and basically I notice no difference between them and the expensive brands.

3) My hair is white for a few hairs on each side of my head. It makes me a sexy bastard. It's been that way since I was about 25 but it's kind of hard to notice. I actually do really like it though and have NO problem if it all goes like that.

4) NYE is a massive pain the ass. Too hard to get transportation, places cost too much etc. I think the only way to do it is to hopefully be within easy access of public transportation and make sure where you are going is the same.

Addtionally don't hope for anything good because generally it ends up as a night like any other. I will be in florida hopefully doing nothing. My plan for the next new years I am in town is an open invite to anyone who wants to smoke joints and eat delicious delicious food.
