NBA 2k11 My Player thread

how far along are you on your MyPlayer? whats your career best game? whats your favorite position to play on the game? how long did it take you to develop your player as much as you have (in terms of games/seasons)

I just started my 3rd season. I'm starting to play less and less because it's getting really repetitive and boring now. So for my overall is 90. Career best game was 32 points, 17 rebounds, 11 assists, and 7 blocks on 7 minute quarters. I've scored 110 points before on 12 minute quarters also.

Funny. LeBron injured Delonte West on my mpm. :D

Whats the best way to develop your player? the Athletic attributes such as Speed,Quickness, Verticle first or Shooting or Defense and Rebounding for a PG

2nd year point guard with the Lakers...started at the beginning at the season but then they picked up Stephen Jackson for Lamar Odom and got fcked over

Still avging a triple double but off the bench...been a while since I played though lol

I'd do shooting, defence and rebounding first, since they don't cost that much skill points (compared with athletics) but improve your player.

I developed my athletic PG's midrange shooting to 80, and am working on getting the 3 point shooting to 65-70. With speed and shooting, your point guard is a nice offensive threat. Tip: try to use the shooting drill, since it's easy and gives you the chance to increase your shooting attributes directly.

I'm just terrible on defense. I don't know... nothing helps me. defensive skills like on ball d and post d are useless. Upgraded it to the max, but I am the same, terrible... I can make Eugene Jeter look like Allen Iverson.

Vertical is gold. It helps in so many ways, especially to grab rebounds

i think im gonna try one with an athletic SG and do his Athletic Attributes (Quickness, Speed, Vert) first it might take all year to get them maxed out since the player im going to use is ridiculous (see Sam Thompson thread in other sports page) if i created a thread about my career would you other posters follow (just for fun/entertainment)

Offensive and Defensive awareness is the key improving your overall, I know that.

I've found speed to be the most useful.

You can get out on the break and get easy buckets.
