best place to meet new people(for a teen) during the year? i.e things after school, weekends, etc.

lol thanks for remembering :P. in a gym u dont really get to know anyone. everyones just doing their own routine. parents wont let me get a job during the year, nor volunter

. any other suggestions?

Can't work, can't volunteer, can't join a gym, don't like clubs. Seems like outside of school it would be difficult. I'd say the mall but that's somewhere to go with friends you already know. It's not like you can go up to random strangers and start conversations for the most part. What about going out with current friends and asking them to bring other people, movies, restaurant, gathering at someones house. Meeting new people through people you already know is a little easier. Sports was always great for me to meet people, do you play in any leagues?

Isn't volunteering part of your diploma requirements?

And what I meant by gym is a local basketball court or soccer field. Really good place to meet people.

Because i've never stepped foot in a comic book store? How would that make me old. Not that i'm young. lol

But when i was young i never got into comic books. Never understood that whole fascination. Plus i never knew anyone who was into them, so i was never influenced to get into it. Pretty much thought it was nerd central.
