This is funny, CityTV is airing Breakfast television tomorrow starting an hour early (5am) because of the storm. I'd laugh if the storm isn't as bad as advertised. Kinda like the marathon BS NHL trade deadline coverage when they sit around waiting for something big to happen the first 3hrs. lol

It's been upgraded to a blizzard warning here. We haven't had a blizzard in years. 1984's the last one I can recall. We had 3 days off school.

I'm from Welland i recall a blizzard in 1987, that's the last storm that size that i can remember. I can stay home so i don't care. In fact, when there's a bad storm and i have the option to stay home i kinda like it. Cold storm outside, cozy warm inside watching movies, and playing video games. Kinda fun. If i had to drive in that crap i would be swearing all day.

Same here. If I don't have to go anywhere, I like snowstorms.

The TDSB won't call a snow day anyways.

But it is very funny watching my friends from term-based schools complaining (they didn't have exams, so no days off).

In semestered schools, there is usually a one-day break before "mark check day".
