Well it seemed that the U.S was a little shy of their usual quota so far this year in massacres. A gunmen entered immigration service building earlier today and opened fire killing at least 12 people. Good thing they have the 2nd amendment to cling to.

Maybe, maybe not. But it had been a while by their standards between whack jobs going off and blowing away a dozen people. I'm just surprised it didn't happen in a school, court house or church this time.

Shocking isn't it! The sad part is, this will be talked about for a week or so and then tassed aside until the next massacre. It's ashame that Americans are too stupid to really look at the problem with guns, without saying stay away from my guns, and quoting the 2nd amendment. This will only get worse imo.Stupborn, blind, selfish arrogance at it's finest.

Yup! But don't tell any American that. The country keeps getting more and more populated and more and more nut jobs are walking into schools, churches, community centres, court houses and anywhere else they want to unload an automatic weapon. And during times of depression, economic down turns is when this shit gets even worse. I guess this is part of the American dream every american talks about? I'll say like Bill Maher "the only people clamering to come to the U.S for the most part are people suffering in some 3rd world shit hole".

I wouldn't be so sure about that... the gunman was asian and I believe there were other asians as hostages. Not sure about the ones killed though.

I don't think they've found a reason as to why this happened yet.

Is it a good idea to make so easy the access to guns in a world full of people with mental issues and criminals?

Why do people need to have access to automatic weopons and similar high calibre guns?

Do you need an M16 to hunt? Do you need an Uzi to suposedly defend your home?

Why concentrate such a big amount of money on tools wich only purpose is to kill?

If you have a subject with serious mental problems here the worst thing they can do is kill a couple of people with a knife since getting a gun is virtually imposible. You give the same person an automatic gun and lets see what happends.

Again, a comprehensive study of American culture would be far more beneficial than simply blaming guns. It's akin to saying, video games kill people, meanwhile completely ignoring all the other factors.

I agree that the 2nd ammendment is outdated, but simply blaming guns on the issue of violence is borderline ridiculous.
