Ok, since tomorrow is apparently the end of us all, i figured i'd pose this question. lol

Let's say you knew what day you were going to die and you couldn't do anything about it. What would you do? Who would you spend it with? Where would you go? What's your last meal? To make it interesting, you have one week warning to plan it.

Go..

I would do nothing special. I am pretty depressed (81 dp) anyways.
But it would be chaos. I believe some people would spend the day with their families, but others would be on riot mode.

i think id turn crazy if i knew i had a week left, picking out what i want to do (which would be everything in the world if i knew i would die) and trying to cram it all in.

tmrw isnt the end, its the start of the rapture btw. it is supposedly 6 months of hell

Tremble in the corner of a dark room and hope that hell doesn't exist.

There's a great film called Last Night, by Don McKellar. It explores this shit.

Quote:
Set in Toronto at an unknown date, Last Night tells the story of how a variety of intersecting characters spend their final evening on Earth. It seems the world is to end at midnight (Eastern Standard Time) as the result of a calamity that is not explained, but which has been expected for several months. There are several scenes of an ominously glowing sun, which gets progressively larger and brighter even into the night.

Some people in the film choose to spend their last evening alone, others with loved ones, others in prayer, others in public mayhem, and still others at raucous festivities. The owner of a power company Duncan (David Cronenberg) spends the majority of his final day calling up every single one of his customers to reassure them that their heating gas will be kept on until the very end. Meanwhile, his wife Sandra (Sandra Oh) prepares to fulfill their suicide pact when she becomes stranded with a depressed widower Patrick (Don McKellar) preparing to die while listening to music and drinking wine on his roof, surrounded by mementoes of his recently deceased wife. The widower's best friend Craig (Callum Keith Rennie) participates in a nearly non-stop sex marathon as he attempts to fulfill every fantasy he has ever had, at one point awkwardly asking Patrick to join him.

Yeah, I seen that film, pretty good one too. And its Canadian.

Myself, I think I would explore every sexual fantasy that I ever could think up. Then await the prince of darkness.

I'd probably camp out on a beach with my wife and spend every last moment with her.

My last meal would be extensive, and I would prepare everything for us myself.

- Tom yam goong, lobster, beef tenderloin with red wine reduction, jerk shrimp, Caribbean sweet potatoes, grilled corn, celery root/parsnip puree, fresh baked rolls with homemade strawberry jam, lemon tarts, white chocolate/raspberry cheesecake.

BEER/WINE/SCOTCH

Drink wine with the people I care about. I would probably go toast every single person I see on the street. I would also skydive.

I'd tell off the people who fuck me around, because I often kick myself for not doing that.

I'd grab all the people I actually love and have a big party outdoors.... live music, great food, beer, my favourite people... I'd require a bonfire and an acoustic singalong.

That would make me happy.

Well, today's the final day, and I'm spending it by watching "Never Say Never" with my sister...

What a way to go out.

I'd say what they call hell is worse.

Non-existence is just... nothing. You cease to exist. You don't feel or experience anything, there is no you.
