Exoress was ok speed for me and I did everything on my computer, including watching all my TV.

If I had a suggestion for television it would be not to pay for it and stream things online.

I've been doing that for about 5 months now and I will never go back

Really? I'd likely use up my cap in one night, then.

I just tried to get Rogers, and the address I'm moving into is "unsaleable". He gave me a number to call to sort it out, but the number doesn't exist.

Has anyone ever dealt with that before????? Wtf does it mean?

I have been doing that for about 2 years now. I don't stream much but I do download it after it airs (most stuff I want to see is available within an hour of it airing).

No Cogeco in Toronto. That's what my parents have in Niagara.

Get ready to pay more for cable TV - thestar.com

The private broadcasters had warned repeatedly that without the extra funds, they would have to shut down more local stations and cut back on Canadian productions.
Such corporate, threatening bullshit.

I just talked to my wife about this, she works at Rogers and the only time she has ever come across this is with condo's where the building has a contract with another provider like Bell. She suggested going to the Roger'w website and typing in your postal code to see if that area is serviceable or not or calling them again and hopefully you get a more knowledgeable/helpful customer service rep.

Thanks!

I actually called 'em back right away yesterday, and went to a different type of service person. They DO put blocks on places if the previous owner didn't pay their bill (which is stupid, because it shouldn't affect the new tenant).

This guy managed to fix it for me, so I've got Rogers Digital VIP, and Express internet. I'd better start watching more tv....
