Sentras are good in the snow.

Front wheel drive FTW.

So, what the aftermath like today for everyone? It wasn't as bad as they originally predicted it was going to be here in Ottawa. Probably at a minimum about 20cms, but not the 30 they thought we were going to get. Did some shovelling last night and about to head out soon to finish the rest.

I dunno, I'd say about 18-20 cm here, it's perfect though for snow balls. I pelted the girlfriend this morning. lol.

Man, it's shitty out again...freezing rain, ice pellets and now snow.

Could another snow day be on the horizon?

I say more than likely. I REALLY REALLY hope that I don't have to go up Downsview tomorrow for 9 am. Nothing would make me happier than hearing them say, meeting cancelled!!!!

So it's worse today then it's been all of this year and they keep the school open. I'm glad that government funding is more important than the well-being and safety of staff, students and faculty.

Yeah, its nasty here in Ottawa and only supposed to get worse throughout the day. Took me 2.5 hours to get to work this morning too.

Praying that this storm is the "last hurrah" & final blizzard of this winter.

heh.
I was thinking of taking the train, but i decided to drive anyways. The roads are supposed to be good for the evening drive, so i'm good.

Drive wasn't that bad. Took me 45 mins when it usually takes a bit under half and hour.

Snow is good.
Can't wait for the skiing this weekend.

woot.

My school board cancels the buses but keeps the schools open.

About 40 kids make their way to school. The school spends the rest of the day trying to figure out how to get them home.

Yup, same in Niagara. My girlfriend's school had only thirty kids show up and no buses.

I love snowdays because I'm a student.
But Cladius, teachers still have to come to school even if buses are cancelled?
That's weird, because the staff in my school do not come to school, because no students really go to school when buses are cancelled anyways.

It wasn't the drive to work that concerned me, its the one going home tonight. Here in Ottawa they are saying another 15 cms with freezing rain. Tonight is going to be ridiculous driving home.
