Snow Tires/ All seasons Bah!

If you're a good driver you'll be fine in all seasons. Too many times, people get snows on and they become true assholes on the road, thinking they're invincible. Then you couple those people in SUVs with snows and you truly have an awesome combination. You slip in slide in snows, you slip in slide in all seasons.

What you do is you get real good all seasons that are comparable to snows (yes, they exist!!).

And if the gov't ever legislates that Ontarians need to have snows on, then I'll just sell my car. Cars are already money pits as they are adding an additional 1000 dollars or so to my cost is not worth it.

There was no snow here on my way to work, but it started coming down pretty hard about 40 minutes ago.

There was snow here at about 7.30 and then white out by 7.45. I thought it was only flurries today. Damn.

I almost slipped twice.

But what's funny is that the UK has had minimal amounts of snow the past couple of days which has brought the nation(s) to their knees.

they're just not prepared for it, much like vancouver over xmas. frankly, if i was a taxpayer in either of those places and the gov't was spending millions on snow clearing equipment that they almost never use i'd be pretty pissed. the snow will melt ina couple of days anyways. everyone just gets a bonus holiday. sounds good to me.

Yea, my parents have been trying to get out of London for the past couple days.Canadians/Russians and Americans say whats the problem, its normal for them. I usually never "snows" in London and I'm not talking about flurries.

I have cousins who now reside in the UK but who are from Canada and citizens are freaking out there, but they love it because it means a few days off.
