Then the question becomes, have we been visited really? could it be possible?

if there are others out there, do you think they have a 13% blended tax like we do?

considering that little piece of space near the moon they were looking at contained at least 10 galaxies.... wow, it's def possible we have been visited, altho unlikely just by the pure distance between us and others, but if we can get into space and travel, i dont see why others might not be more advanced doing it.

I'm no astronomer, but 10 galaxies in a speck beside the moon seems a little exaggerated when you consider all the planets that are in our galaxy alone. Shit, who's to say scientists aren't just throwing random numbers out there to have some fun with the unaware public? Meanwhile said scientists are laughing their asses off behind closed doors back at NASA...

In seriousness though...as far as I'm concerned the chances there are other "things" out there are much greater than the chances that there aren't.

When I was a kid, I had this huge book of maps and at the back it visually explained how big the universe was and how tiny we were. It was the first step I took on the road to questioning our existence and kick-started pretty much every mental problem I have today. Stupid maps.

Watching Cosmos with Carl Sagan made me a geek for life.

Damn YOU Sagan!

He described our smallness pretty well, in terms of both space and time. I don't remember much though. Shit about grains of sand? I'll check Youtube.
