Hope you are Ok man, well if it is the appendix you wont be here for a week.
Incorrect, day and a half.

Anyways, this is the story:

Arrived at the general(I think it was the general) hospital at like 1 am, could barely even walk from the car into the area. Went to emergency area, they interviewed me about what was wrong and stuff then asked me to sit at the side, said I'd be the first person they'd attend to, which was a lie from the start obviously. I ended up as the 3rd person to get to go to a room to get attended to.

They took 3 hours to get me in. Then they finally came into the room 45 minutes later and asked me the same questions(the same questions I got asked like everytime a new nurse/doctor came in, you'd think they'd just hand the sheets to one another). They finally hooked me up at like 6 am and gave me some morphine, at that time my dad left to go home to get some sleep.

Surgeon came in finally and asked some more questions, figuring it had to be a pendicitis, they didnt even have to x ray me and such. They told me I'd be going in for surgery mid morning, turned out to be at 1 PM but that was cool cuz their beds are the most comfortable beds of all time. Most comfortable beds of all time+tons of morphine= insanely comfortable thriller92. Then some new doc came in and asked me if I could be used as a class project for her 3rd year UNI students, I agreed. So they came in at like 11 am and she was basically testing them to see if they'd ask all the necessary questions and figure out what I had and such. One of the students was like the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in persn, it's too bad she wasnt a nurse and came in alone to ask me questions.

Anyway, so they brought me out from the room at like 1 PM, put me outside the surgery room for 15 minutes to get ready. I could barely swallow because they dont allow you to drink anything because it could clog your lungs when operating. I didnt have water for like 13 hours, and it was a spot where I felt like I had to puke but couldnt because there was nothing in my stomach and I couldnt really open my throat anyway, it was pretty brutal. So they brought me in and put me on the table thingy, put some mask on me and some thing in my IV, asked me a couple questions, and then after that I was out cold, didnt even remember closing my eyes, the stuff they use REALLY knocks you out. Woke up 2 hours after the surgery at 4 and couldnt move at all. They had to like put a stretcher thing under me to carry me into my new bed. Then they put more morphine into me and gave me those shots that make the inside of your arm feel like it's on fire. I watched TV the rest of the day, unfortunately they didnt get the score, but I was ok with deal or no deal and law and order. Finally got the highlights on tsn at like 11 and was happy.

They let me out at 8am this morning and it's still sorta hard to walk. They said I cant return to work for a month, so I get to chill on my couch for a while which should be a nice break.

It turned out to be ok in the end, morphine+comfy beds+ a bunch of hot nurses tending to you= OK. They got a TON of hot nurses in hospitals, lots of tail to go around, damn.

Punch yourself in the right side really hard a couple times and tell the hospital your appendix is hurting, haha. Woulda been the best hospital experience ever if I got a couple numbers. Sucks theres a shortage of doctors/nurses in every hospital or I woulda got a lot more alone time with the hotties .

But don't you work for Canada Post? If I remember correctly they are still unionized which would most likely means you should have medical leave benefits.

I now take everything I said about the comfy beds and morphine back.

Morphine disabled my ability to judge my comfort, and thus now my head and neck are all fucked up from having the bed tilted upward which was insanely comfortable at the time. Now it's like I'm paralyzed at the neck and then hips down. Hopefully I wake up with my neck feeling better at least.
