A: he sold his TV.

speaking of VCR's, tomorrow will be the last day of service of mine as I am getting my Bell PVR tomorrow. Thinking of throwing the VCR a retirement ceremony later.

ah the memories.

A very sad day indeed.

Don't know why, but I haven't owned a VCR in about 10 years.

congrats Fancy...
welcome to the future!

funny thing, me and the woman had a good conversation last night about our VCR days... and how we cant believe the shit those things put us through, now that the PVR has come into our lives and made things 1 million times easier.
i said it once, i'll say it again: the PVR is the best thing to happen since sliced bread.

you'll see fancy.
remember this day, because as soon as you hook up your PVR your world will never be the same again.

I'm beyond pissed. Last year i bought a 42' Panasonic 1080i and i was recently having problems with it and Panasonic agreed to replace it. So yesterday i go and exchange my TV for a replacement from where i bought it last year. Anyway i get home, hook it all up and it just seems to me that the sound and picture quality is off. I then look at the manual and realize that they replaced my 1080i Plasma with a 720p.

What's pvr?

I've got HD and they charge me 12.95 per/month for the HD box.

What sucks is that i'm gonna have to lug another tv out and another one into my apartment. What a pain in the balls.

I'd be laughing too if it wasn't me. lol

the HD PVR is hd programming plus being able to record hours and hours on your digital box and then watching it when you want later on. I think the standard box I have right now is $5/month.
