Word I have a 52 inch Sharp Aquos and it's fuckin' great.

Really?

Gurk says he has proof it was me, although he also pretended he was buying $2000.00 TV, so you never know what that cat has up his sleeve.

LOL you cannot compare a Panasonic Plasma to a Sharp LCD. Panasonic simply makes the best plasmas out there (after Fujitsu, although you have to specially order Fujitsu as they are not available in stores).

LCD's are the smarter buy.
Plasma's have the better picture, but LCD's are so much more better for the money conscious (regular buyer).
LCD's have a much longer shelf life, they can be placed in any room and look good, can be played by video game enthusiasts, and are cheaper.
Plasma's on the other hand burn out quicker, arent very good in bright rooms, are more expensive, and should never be used for video games.

I rarely even respond to you.

And if you think I've been harassing you lately, it's to build a bigger and better gurk. Not a post count padding, sometimes cocky, stating the obvious, repeating something someone else has said, posting just for the sake of posting son of a gun.

LED sets are sweet.

Solves the problem of poor black levels that is common with LCDs.

Too bad there way too much bread.

Hopefully they'll come down in price in the next couple of years.

oh you know they will.
remember a few years back when Plasma's and LCD's were super expensive? even the rear projection tv's were in the thousands.

not anymore my friend.
just give it some time, and those LED sets will be affordable.
of course when that time comes, there will be some new technologythat will be even superior.

Oh I know man.

I remember in the mid-80's when my old man paid almost a $1000.00 for a VCR.
