This thread is awesome

BTW Aar, Acie said you may know a little about keyboards. If you do wich one do you recommend thats cheap and has a decent live sound?
I checked Rolands "Juno D" and korgs "X50", they look pretty good.

How much would a guitar like that go for?

NO!

I can have a selection to match them with my outfits when I play live.

haha, I may buy an SG in a 4 or 5 of months too. Ill probably go with this one:

I just bought the Digitech Whammy pedal. I know its a toy, but I want to experiment a little with it. If I dont find anything that I like I will sell it.

BTW one of those guitars should go to your son. Are you going to be one of those dads that teach their children since they are 1 year old? lol

I already have a natural burst SG.

Boy or girl, I'm buying a mini drum kit, a little keyboard, guitar...

Get the SG instead, it's a more versatile guitar.

not a chance hehe

I love the SG though, I think it is a matter of taste more than anything but IMO an HSS strat is the guitar that can cover more styles better.

Hmm...seeing as I've spent a lot of time playing both I'd say SG's are good for jazz, blues, funk, classic rock, hard rock, heavy metal...

Strats are good at sounding thin and buzzy and the occasional blues song. lol

I like my telecaster better than any strat I've ever played.

But like you say, it's a matter of personal preference.

Yeah, my mic wasn't loud enough, my monitor wasn't working and it was the first time I had ever sung that song (which is why I have the lyrics taped to the mic stand). lol
