Funny, cuz the first electric I'll likely get is a red strat. And I saw those amps on sale somewhere, didja get a good deal?

Yeah, I got a good deal at the local downtown music shop.

Actually, the bass player in my band works there and is married to a relative of yours.

Your bass player is married to someone related to me? I didn't know that... apparently I'm related to everyone in the Niagara region.

Well, your family is quite extensive.

She's a TeDesco.

havent posted here in a while, but I got my axiom 49, logic pro and fast track now Still on the list, a PRS torero, but since I dont have the money, I might just settle for the PRS SE24 custom. I played the torero at L&M and fell in love so fast haha. OH well, one day I will own that guitar. I am also thinking of getting a pod because the plugins in logic for guitars, especially distortion are just terrible.

The current list of things I want now are:
SM58 dynamic mic
prs se
line 6 pod x3 or pod hd desktop (whichever I can find for 200 or less on kijiji)
studio monitors, probably those m audio ones for 150
condensor mic

And if I get a kick ass summer job and some how able to get all that stuff as well as pay a decent chunk out of my tution fee, ill get an rgd or something, or jsut save up and get the torero

The knobs go to 11.

It 4.4 cubic feet, so how ever many brews that fits.

Does anyone here have any experience with Bill Nash guitars? I've only had the opportunity to play one which was one of his '63 strat relics. It played like a dream. I felt like it played much better than any of the Fender Strats in the store that day.

I'm in the market for a new guitar and have been back and forth between a Bill Nash strat or a Fender Custom Shop Strat. The custom shop is about $1,000.00 more than the Nash.

Just wondering if anyone has played and has any opinions/reviews on Nash guitars.

My next (and very, very long awaited) purchase.

They range from like $2500 - $3500 but I just love the sound and love the look.

Nice. i've never played a les paul. I often thought about picking up an epiphone LP, but alas... got to spend my money on fun other stuff like removing lead pipes, fixing the car.

I dunno why, they just feel so smooth to me. Like the fret board has been lathered in melted butter.

It is a luxury I have though without so many responsibilities in my life yet (mortgage, family, etc..)

i've always been more of a fender guy because that's what i'm used to. The one gibson type guitar i have (epiphone dot ES335) is great, but definitely doesn't play as 'fast' as a strat or tele. I've got to go down to a guitar shop and just try a les paul out on of these days.

I kinda like how it's not as fast.

It's different, don't really know how to explain it. I like heavy guitars.

That's purty.

I have my first "real" guitar lesson coming up soon, and eventually I want to make the switch to electric (because they're just so damn fun to play).

I either want a red strat or a black Les Paul. But I don't know much.

Any recommendations for a good beginner guitar?

The one thing I learned about that tidbit...whatevers in your price range.

If you want I could come to the store with you to check out a bunch of stuff, but in the end it'll come down to what your willing to spend.

Once you know that, you can play a bunch and pick something comfortable. Pick something that you can get excited about when you pick it up...
