I figured I should take some pictures of the collection for insurance purposes.

I'm kind of embarassed that I have this many and it doesn't even include my acoustics or amplifiers.

Nice collection. My new amp is arriving this week.

I think I want a mid to late 60's Fender Dual Showman.

Guitars are meant for scuffing.

Guitars are meant to be played, so a ding here or ther comes with the territory...doesn't lessen the pain of it happening, but it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Yeah, but the fact that that was my first guitar I bought (changed the pickups and bridge) and I had managed to have it in a almost perfect shape makes it worse. Oh well.

At least your drummer didn't send your SG (securely in it's case) flying and smash it off of the wall and floor causing a huge crack at the top of the neck.

Here's a guitar meant for destroying.

Yes, folks, I give you the Avril Lavigne Telecaster...

Wrong on a myriad of levels.

that tele is horrendous.

bel, sorry to hear about your axe.

i had an old kramer back in the early 90's. i covered the body in beer labels and laquered it. yes, that was me in high school. anyways, the strap slipped off the clip on the front of the body one afternoon, but the butt end was still strapped to my body. the neck end fell straight downwards and cracked the head stock in two. i was completely out of cash at the time so i glued and bolted the head stock back together and was able to re-string the guitar. it didn't hold tune that well anytmore, but i had a floyd rose tremolo system on it so i was able to keep it in reasonable working order. i bought a strat a year later and dicthed the old kramer, but it was a sad day indeed when that happened. i guess we all have our stories about breaking a favoured axe.

I was listening to her song "Girlfriend" the other day. I concentrate to understand the lyrics. It has to be the dumbest song ever writen.
