looks good, although didn't know it. I think there is a Ibanez which looks as that, with "short horns".

IMO, if you aren't in a hurry, wait till you find something used that you like. I did that to get my guitar amp, and I get a fender pro 185 (150 w) for €190, a good deal IMO, for that money I couldn't get a new fender amp of 30 w.

Good luck with it. And hit all the places you know they sell used things all the days you can, good things don't stay there too many days.

BTW, this is a european site, which is said to be the cheapest site in Europe, maybe you can find something there:

Nah it will cost him hell. The Euro-Dollar change. They have thousand of good sites where to buy gear stuff.

The most famous are Musicainsfriend.com and Music123.com.

Rapsfan, there are some sites in the US that ship to spain and with the Euro-Dollar change we always win. Its only worth usually if you by something little like pedals.

http://www.proguitarshop.com/index.php

I bought the Digitech Whammy for 150 euros with shipping inclueded. Through thoman it would have been 180 euros plus 20 of shipping.

BTW for bass I use RotoSound strings. The best to me.

Congrats.

What's next? A new amp? Maybe you need some more pedals?

hahah yeah, I will buy another amp as soon as I can. Luckily here if you own a shop you can buy stuff tax free, and I have a friend who owns a furniture shop. The guitar was 1150 euros and I got it for 950. Its pretty sweet. Its depends on how much I save. I want a Mesa Boogie Express but it is too expensive. I cant pay 1500 anytime soon.
http://www.thomann.de/es/mesa_boogie...50_1x12_bk.htm

I will probably go again with deluxe reverb or twin reverb.

About the pedals, I have finnished. I have all the pedals that I need or want.

BUT, that doesnt mean I dont want to hear wich ones do you have that you want to get rid of.

if theres an interesting offer.....lol

Oh I forgot about this, Yep that just a ridiculous prize. If I were you I would try to sell it though. There are crazy people on Ebay willing to pay that much.

I don't think I could live with myself selling it for that much.

Although it would buy the new bass I have my eye on.

well, it all depends on what you are playing IMO.

For what I play for me its essential to have two types of distortions, wah, delay and chorus.

I do admit I have a couple of toys I dont really need, but its always fun, and works for trying new stuff or make something sound a little more special.

I've got lots.

tuner>wah>phaser>treble booster>distortion/fuzz>fuzz>octave up/down/>analog delay

And lots of feedback. It's essential to my sound and I like to manipulate it in various ways.

My current set up is:

guitar - Digitech Whammy - Bad Horsei 2 wah - Seymour Duncan Twin Tube - MXR phaser - Boss Chorus CE5 - Boss DD20 delay - amp.

One of my favs is the Seymour Duncan pedal. Its a dual overdrive/Distortion tube pedal. Heres a decent review. It sounds great with fenders amps cleans.
ITs really more a preamp that anything.

I like being able to make any type of sound. I dont play in any bands or anything and only play with myself.......

So with a pedal like this I can do just about whatever I feel like doing.

Dude, that Duncan pedal is huge.

Do you have a board or do you just set all of them out on the floor in front of you? I think it's foot print is too big for my board.

What's the DD20 like?

I use a case that becomes a board, all my pedals are pretty big, so I barely have any room. The digitech whammy has to sit outside the board. Its has given me some headaches but I have managed to make it pretty confortable.

Ill make a photo and post it one of this days.

DD20 is a pretty nice pedal, sounds great, and has many kinds of delay. Its big flaw is that it is pretty complicated to use. Its not difficult, its just that there are so many features and options you end up always using the same ones. But thats like most of this things. One thing I love about it is that it has loop mode where you can record a part and play over it. Its not a great loop, it only record like 12 seconds but its better than anything. And it works just fine. The pedal use is really easy so thats cool too.
