WOW, I didn't realize how much Zepplin ripped off other musicians and bands.

Yes. It plays a part anyways.

Kurt was great at the time, so was Dave.

Kurt wrote cool lyrics and used simply melodies coupled with vocals.
(Dave did most of the backing vocals on the tracks)

Kurt borrowed his style heavily on the Pixie, The Vasalines and the MeatPuppets, he wasnt as original as everyone thinks.

Everybody rips another artist off at some point.

Cobain was talented, but by no means do I think he's the legend or genious he's made out to be by fans and in the media. To see him listed alongside Lennon and Dylan as one of the greatest songwriters off all-time is disgraceful.

For me Grohl is a far superior musician and quite frankly I think the first two Foo Fighters albums are better than anything Nirvana released.

It should also be noted that when Grohl first joined Nirvana he was reluctant to introduce his songs as he didn't want to ruin the band's chemistry that was already in place and already felt he had altered their sound a lot with his drumming. He however would of contributed more and more to the song writing had they gone on...

Sure, but imagine if a guy like Trent Reznor had offed himself after The Downward Spiral. People would be like, "Kurt who?"

James Maynard is a brilliant Lyricist. Great lyrics and even better at delivering them.

Danny, Justin and Adam arent slouches either.

As a plus they make the trippiest videos.
