DC comics introduced their "Villains Month" this past Wednesday with a number of different issues...i wasn't completely sold on the idea (although i love the 3D covers) so i decided to sit back and wait for some reviews before buying anything...glad i did ...so far they've been underwhelming at best

Happy to say there is one exception though and that is the main book/storyline called Forever Evil
Issue #1 was really well done imho...and it doesn't hurt to have 2 of the best in the business doing the writing and art (Geoff Johns and David Finch)

There's just something very cool/unique in having all the DC badasses in one book
Recommend picking this up

he's known by different names...Ashta, Devourer of Worlds, The Hunger That Does Not Cease, The God of Oblivion...but most know him as Galactus

my latest purchase is sitting at a Fedex sorting facility in Mississauga (so close yet so far) and he will arrive on Monday
i don't think i've ever been this hyped for a piece before...by far the biggest statue i've ever purchased...i've had to totally rearrange my office in order to accommodate him
i will post some pics on Monday after i stop geeking out

thanks bud
he's huge...pics simply don't do it justice

paint app is immaculate
good weight...not too heavy though...can move around ok
light-up feature really finishes it

moved the mini FFs off the base and placed them around it instead...looks better imho
will eventually match the FF bases to the Galactus base

he was a shitload of money (as you know)..but the "wow" factor of this badass when you see it up close made him worth every penny

That looks amazing. My goal is to have a room like that when I move out and get married haha. Really amazed by a lot of the pieces you have shadow. How do you get the wife to agree to all of these? Teach me your ways. I need tips for the future :P

i have a few recent #1s that i keep separate but nothing that would be considered worth any money yet (maybe 30 years down the road )

the custom GL is one of my favorite pieces..got him from a company down in the Phillipines...can't wait to add more JL pieces in the near future...Batman in October and Superman in January

Jamie Foxx Confirms Sinister Six Talks for The Amazing Spider-Man Series

Quote:
It's long been the subject of fan rumor and wishful thinking that The Amazing Spider-Man film series is headed for a film featuring "The Sinister Six," a collection of Spider-Man's greatest enemies working together. These rumors gained more traction after producer Avi Arad was photographed next to a building with "Sinister Six" painted on it. No one has ever come right out and confirmed the plans for the villain team before, though director Marc Webb has dropped hints about it.

In an interview with Total Film, Jamie Foxx was asked if he'd like to return to the franchise as a part of the Sinister Six and he revealed talks about that subject have come up.

(Possible spoiler ahead!)

"Yes, they actually talked about it, the Sinister Six," said Foxx. "So, fingers crossed, because when you think about it, electricity never dies, it just goes to a different place."

Swinging into theaters on May 2, 2014, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field, Chris Cooper, B.J. Novak and Sarah Gadon.

They should've just stuck fully with the Amazing Spider-Man storyline for the movies and not Ultimate. That being said the Ultimate storyline would've made more sense if Spider-Man (movie franchise) was owned by Marvel/Disney and not Sony.

Got wolverine 1-4 (1982) for 60 bucks yesterday. 1 is in meh condition, but I already have that graded with a 9.6. 2 and 3 are in pretty great condition and 4 has a little white mark but the rest is good. Hoping to flip those for a bit more money and then buy the 2nd one in graded condition.
