they are the Bowen Hydra mini bust set (3 to a set)
here's a link...

Hydra Mini Busts

if interested, you should be able to pick up a set on Evilbay for around $80-$100 Canadian
here's a link for a set at $79...you'll have to contact the seller for shipping price

Evilbay Hydra

the other busts i have are the Bowen A.I.M busts (2 in a set)...can usually purchase for around $70 Canadian (set of 2)
here's a link...

Evilbay A.I.M

i originally bought the Hydra guys to go with my Sideshow Red Skull...and the A.I.M guys (2 sets) to go with my Bowen M.O.D.O.K
but have them lined up across my Avengers lineup at the moment

hope that helps

edit...and i should add that i'm waiting for Sideshow to do a 1/4 PF of a Hydra soldier (preferably Bob )...so i can display him with my upcoming Deadpool PF (arriving in June)

another Great Page...Iron Man #128

Quote:
Tony Stark was in a rough place. His Iron Man suit was acting up thanks to a plot begun by Justin Hammer, his company was attempting to fend off a hostile takeover by S.H.I.E.L.D., and he was constantly fighting supervillains. As the weight of all these problems bore down on Tony, he retreated to his favorite escape: alcohol.

This page, with Tony drunkenly deciding to give up his civilian identity and become Iron Man full time, was plotted by David Michelinie and Bob Layton but scripted by Michelinie alone. John Romita Jr. and Bob Layton provided the art. It shows Tony at his lowest point. One of the smartest men in the Marvel Universe has become addled and not thinking through his decisions. It’s a strong character moment and one that gives Tony a piece of humanity. Even smart, accomplished people have hidden personal problems and acknowledging that fact allowed Tony Stark to become a little bit more human to the readers. It was a bold choice and one that is still influencing the character today.

another Great Page...JLA #7

Quote:
Continuity can be a bear.

When Grant Morrison took over as the writer of the Justice League in JLA, he wanted to use the biggest names in the DC roster. He wanted the League to be a modern pantheon. But then, a fundamental change happened. Over in the pages of Superman’s solo books, the Man of Steel was getting a power shift. Instead of the familiar red, blue, and gold suit, he was now sporting a blue and white containment suit. Gone were his vision powers, most of his speed, and his invulnerable skin. Now he had weird electric powers that readers didn’t fully understand. Under an editorial mandate to make his Superman fit in with the Superman in the other books, Morrison rose to the challenge.

During an adventure in which the moon was being pushed towards the Earth, Superman took it upon himself to keep the two cosmic masses apart. Aware that electricity and magnetism are related, Superman hooked himself up to machinery that allowed him to created magnetic poles on the moon. The moon’s charge was the opposite of the Earth’s, meaning that they naturally repelled each other. Superman had once again saved the world.

Morrison, alongside penciller Howard Porter, created a page that used Superman’s new powers in an inspired way. They didn’t miss a step when continuity was forced upon them. They managed to prove that Superman will always be Superman, no matter how he looks.

was out and about most of the day on my scooter and decided to drop into one of my favourite comic book stores on the way home...that's when i spotted this guy
a Deadpool pencil/pen holder ...knew he would fit perfectly in the geek room...he's very heavy/solid...the shuriken are actually erasers and the plastic arrow fletching cap enables you to "weaponize" your favourite pen/pencil

a couple of quick pics from my iphone...
