thanks and ya, he cost me a pretty penny
but i know he'll be going up again after the movie comes out this summer

speaking of Red Skull...i recently purchased a TPB called Captain America vs The Red Skull...it was a lot of fun going back and reading old storylines of these two foes...some of the really early stuff is downright hilarious
if anyone was interested in getting some historical background on these two iconic figures (before the movie comes out) then i highly recommend picking this up
the book covers Captain America Comics (1941-1954 Golden Age) #1; Tales of Suspense (1959-1968) #79-81; and Captain America (1968 1st Series) #143, 226-227, 261-263 and 370; and material from ANNUAL #13 and Captain America: Red, White, and Blue (2002)

big news from DC yesterday...digital and printed issues available on same day ?...about freaking time...well done DC

are you listening Marvel ??????

Quote:
DC Comics issued some major news today for all of their DC Universe titles. Beginning on Wednesday, August 31st, 52 titles (the entire DCU lineup) will relaunch from issue one and every issue published from that point on will be available for digital purchase day and date with the printed issue.
Spearheading the relaunch is the debut of "Justice League" #1, bringing back core members to the superhero team, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Green Lantern. The series will be written by DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and illustrated by DC Comics Co-Publisher Jim Lee.
As you can see in the first image from the series below (courtesy of USA Today), some of the iconic DC characters will feature newly-designed costumes. Superman appears to no longer feature red shorts and the "S" logo has undergone an overhaul, already launching some speculation that this might be closer to the look that fans will see in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel.

Just read on Vulture news that there is gonna be an influx of 2nd tier superheroe movies.
To name a few, Hawkman, Ant-man, Deadpool, Flash, Judge Dred, Jessica Jones, and the Runaways.

I am excited about the Judge Dredd movie. Stallones version was not true to the material. Oh and Karl Urban is signed to play him this time.

thanks bud
i've been reading updates on some of these...first i've heard Flash, Jones and Runaways mentioned though...there is also talk of a S.H.I.E.L.D film as well

fuck me, i've got to stay out of comic book stores for awhile...they are costing me a freaking fortune lately
dropped in to a LCS in Whitby this morning after doing some hockey tutoring and ended up adding these 2 fantastic sculpts to my collection...the owner gave me a pretty good deal on both
i'm completely tapped out now...no more until this fall

Sideshow Hulk and Colossus...
Colossus stands at 17" high and Hulk is a massive 23.5"

there's been quite a bit of confusion regarding DC's reboot in September...iFanboy has come out with a great idea for keeping all the info straight and up to date...

Quote:
Big changes are coming to DC Comics in September!

Ever since DC Comics announced that they were restarting the DC Universe after the conclusion of Flashpoint with a whole new slate of 52 new number one issues, the information has been coming in at a fast and furious pace. It's hard to keep track of all the new titles and creative teams that have been announced and so, as always, iFanboy is here to help!

Below you will find a definitive guide to all 52 new DC Comics titles that are set to begin in September (plus the one additional title that has been announced for 2012). Every time there is a new announcement we will cover it as we have all of the previous books and then we will add it to this master list.

First mistake they made was putting Ryan Reynolds in the role. Seriously, he might be worse then Keanu Reeves as an actor.
