there was a photo being shown online this morning that is supposedly an early rendition of the character PARALLAX from the Green Lantern film...i managed to get a copy of it before it was taken down at the request of the studio

can't guarantee this pic is real but here it is

i love comics, but i can't read them. why? the answer is simple - they don't sell marvel and dc comics here (the closest thing to comics here are mangas and there are like 2 of those lol). i could try to download them from torrents, but it's not the same as reading a paperback version...i read a star wars novel and "Old man Logan" that way.

btw i love star wars :dancing:

where are you from that you can't buy DC or Marvel ?

you can always "settle" for digital :)...Marvel has a great selection of digital comics...DC has just recently added them as well

Lithuania. i know i could buy comics online, but it just doesn't feel that special. i love things that i can touch :D digital is really lame in a way...plus, i get really annoyed while reading digitals (i don't know why).

well, at least i can watch the movies! :D

i suggest graphic novels from ebay then...you can get some pretty good deals

no matter how hard i try, i just can't get into this movie....mainly because of Seth Rogen, but also because of the fact that Bruce Lee will ALWAYS be Kato for me...he was simply badass in the old tv series...

and then of course there is this classic moment in tv :)...

Chris Zylka's role in Marc Webb's Spider-Man reboot has been confirmed to be that of Flash Thompson, says a report at TheWrap.
Quote:

Sources tells SuperHeroHype that young actor Miles Elliot (photo below) has been cast as Billy Connors in Columbia Pictures' Spider-Man movie, currently filming in Los Angeles. Newcomer Elliot had a small part in "Grey's Anatomy" last month.

Billy is of course the son of Martha and Curt Connors (aka The Lizard), to be played by Rhys Ifans.

Also starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Julianne Nicholson, Irrfan Khan, Annie Parisse and Chris Zylka, the Marc Webb-directed action adventure will hit 3D and 2D theaters on July 3, 2012.

Shadowfax 12-13-2010 12:35 PM

everyone who reads this thread will know how much i enjoyed the recent Thanos Imperative storyline...if you haven't already checked it out then i urge you to do so
i was very pleased to learn that there is a follow-up edition called The Thanos Imperative: Devastation #1...i'm not sure if this is a "one-shot" or an actual series (can't seem to find any more info)....i'm hoping the #1 in the title is an indication that there are indeed more
release date should be Jan 6th

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j2...evistation.jpg

i'm also VERY excited to learn that there will be a new limited series called Annihilators...kind of a "cosmic" Avengers team
the group consists of some very heavy hitters in the Marvel cosmic universe...Sliver Surfer, Beta-Ray Bill, Quasar, Gladiator and Ronan the Accuser...this series could be outstanding !
release date should be sometime in March 2011

Annihilators Assemble !!

i'm not sure that's him...although at times it does sounds like him

plus i find it more than a coincidence that Strange is featured here...rumours are flying that he's the main villain in the upcoming Dark Knight film

this game will be a first day purchase for me :)
