We all know that Mark Ruffalo landed the part of Bruce Banner/The Hulk in Marvel Studios' upcoming The Avengers. What we didn't know is that he'll actually do the performance capture for the Green Goliath!

He told Vulture: "I'm really excited. No one's ever played the Hulk exactly, they've always done CGI... They're going to do the Avatar stop-action, stop-motion capture. So I'll actually play the Hulk. That'll be fun."

Natalie Portman may be Warner Brothers' number one choice for the part of Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman reboot, reports Moviehole.

The site reports that Portman was in the running for the part as far back as Superman Returns and that the recently rumored addition of Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky to the alleged studio short list may be a sign that negotiations for the part are back on the table.

Michael Chiklis wants you to know something about his new series: Yes, there will be superpowers, but no, it won't be like any other comic book-style project you've seen before. "This isn't Heroes. It isn't The Incredibles," he promises. "This is 'No Ordinary Family.'"

The series, which debuts Sept. 28 on ABC, does come with a superheroic cachet: The Powell family--Chiklis ("The Shield") and Julie Benz ("Dexter") play the parents, Kay Panabaker (Fame) and Jimmy Bennett (Star Trek) are their kids--gain mysterious powers after a plane crash. But the focus is more about family dynamics more than costume-clad conflicts, with executive producers Jon Harmon Feldman ("Dirty Sexy Money") and Greg Berlanti ("Brothers & Sisters," the upcoming Green Lantern film) zeroing in on how the clan copes with their extranormal abilities.

Lucasfilm Ltd. announced today that the live-action "Star Wars" saga will be converted to 3D.

"There are few movies that lend themselves more perfectly to 3D; from the Death Star trench run to the Tatooine Podrace, the 'Star Wars Saga' has always delivered an entertainment experience that is completely immersive," said the statement.

i swear to God...she is the spitting image of my daughter in law...only difference is Amanda is a dark brunette

bought Iron Man 2 on bluray yesterday...excellent quality and the extras are very good
also bought Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (bluray)...very well done...coloring is incredible...voice acting is superb and has some excellent fight scenes...only complaint for me would be the sound...seemed a little flat to me
highly recommend picking it up...8/10

Shooting on X-Men: First Class is well underway in the United Kingdom and reports keep coming in from all over the web, including a number of tweets from British entertainment personality Jonathan Ross.

"I probably shouldn't tweet this," Ross wrote earlier today, "...but - saw some footage from X-Men First Class this morning. It will be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He quickly followed that, adding, "Also I was there for the filming of a January Jones as Emma Frost scene...in lingerie. Fanboys, start your drooling...."

"Glee's" Dianna Agron and Moon's Dominique McElligott are the latest two names to be added to the short list for the female lead in Marc Webb's 3D reboot of the Spider-Man franchise, says a report at Deadline, which also tosses in the out-of-left-field rumor that Phillip Seymour Hoffman may be up for the part of Venom.

Wonder Woman is headed to the small screen as word breaks via Deadline that the Amazon Princess is being eyed for a television series from writer/producer David E. Kelley.

Kelley is best known for creating series like "Ally McBeal," "Chicago Hope" and, most recently, "Boston Legal." He has also drafted screenplays for films like Lake Placid and Mystery, Alaska.

A Wonder Woman series would presumably aim to fill the gap that will be left when the long-running "Smallville" goes off the air next year. If that Superman-inspired series is any indication, Kelley's Wonder Woman adaptation could take an unexpected angle to the story of DC's preeminent superheroine. It is unknown whether Wonder Woman would even be used as the show's title.

Work it out.

"You have to get out of here!"

Okay, that's reasonable. This superhero is warning someone off.

"Your VAGINA is HAUNTED"

How does that work? If her vagina is haunted, where can she go so that it won't be haunted? The story behind this is that the girl had a vagina transplant and the previous owner (1/5th of a team of sexy undead nurses) is out to reclaim it. I don't know if the writer understands science, but vagina transplants are generally not things that happen.

This is an actual storyline. This happened. Everything about this comic is gross and ugly and unpleasant. The oversexualized main character makes Witchblade look a Puritan novel. The storylines are... well, once again, look above. Just awful all around.

What really makes Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose one of the worst comic books ever, however, is the utter lack of thought put into the most basic plot points. You'll rarely see a comic so lazily constructed in your life. The protagonists are incompetent, the villains are dull, and everyone seems to live in a sexy fugue state bumbling into one another and occasionally doing sex magic.

Though the Hoffman-as-Venom rumor may sound incredulous, it is possible that it is the result of some crossed wired. In the "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics, Venom is a scientific creation of Eddie Brock's father who, working with Peter Parker's father, created the suit in an attempt to cure cancer. Though it's pure speculation at this stage, it could be the elder Brock that Hoffman is in talks for.

thanks Windex...great read
i would have preferred to see a Superman/Brainiac storyline (or even Metallo) but i'll settle for Zod...and Zod seems to fit into a "Nolan" uni as well
although i'll probably take a shit kicking for saying this, i loved what Snyder did with Watchmen...he managed to take an extremely difficult and complex storyline and squeeze it into 162 mins...just hope there is a little less of his signature slo-mo moments
great producer and director...next is cast
let me be the first to throw this name out there for the lead role of Kent/Superman

Jon Hamm
