a number of Grant Morrison storylines have been on a collision course for a few months now...i've been very curious as to who was going to wear the cowl after all is said and done...well now it seems that there will be more than one Batman

Link

Though hinted at and suggested by solicits and Grant Morrison, today DC Comics confirmed what we had been wondering all along - upon his return, Bruce Wayne will be Batman once more. But that'd doesn't mean he'll be the only Dark Knight.
In a brief interview with the New York Post, Dan DiDio revealed that Dick Grayson, Wayne's former partner and the former Nightwing, will remain a guardian of Gotham City while Wayne will focus more on a global scale. "He wants to be more aggressive in his reach," DiDio said in the interview. "He realizes the change that Batman as a symbol can effect around the world." The Post noted specifically that Wayne's approach would be to "build a Starbucks-style franchise of Dark Knights." Given how many Starbucks are out there... that's quite the concept.
DC wouldn't reveal too many more details outside of the fact that Damian Wayne, Bruce's son, would remain Robin. It was also specified that Grayson would retain the simplified Batman costume with the black logo whereas Wayne's new outfit would sport the yellow and black symbol made famous two decades by Tim Burton's Batman films.
Mike Marts, the Batman franchise editor, also provided this quote on DC's blog: "Just as readers were getting comfortable with the idea of former sidekick Dick Grayson playing the role of Batman, along comes Bruce Wayne's triumphant return to the Cape and Cowl. Is Gotham City ready for two Batmen? Is the world? And who's to say the fun will end there?"

Heard Aronovsky might be in the running to direct the next Wolverine movie...considering the pos the first one was, a director like Aronovsky could really do something great. He hasn't really directed action movies but with ones like the Wrestler and Requiem, it's obvious he can.

David Slade is the other name being kicked around...at this point i don't think it really matters who directs...the script is what's going to make or break this film

but imho Fox will just mess this up once again...i have very little faith that it will be done right

and speaking of Wolverine...a brand new storyline involving the Canucklehead hits the stands today...all the previews for this one have been very good

some more news on Arkham City....looks like the game will be 4-5 times bigger than Asylum

Link

Last week saw the release of numerous screenshots from Batman: Arkham City and now there are also new quotes from Rocksteady Studios' Efton Hill about the anticipated game, coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in fall 2011.
Hill told CVG that the game is "four or five times" bigger than Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman will have double the number of moves as his disposal this time.
"Without a doubt, the hardest part of moving the game setting from the confines of the asylum into the urban sprawl of Arkham City was simply building the environment," he said.
"Our objective in this game is not to make the biggest game we can, but to make the best game possible. Gamers who played 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' will know how dedicated we are as a studio to injecting an incredible amount of detail into every environment we build.
"It is this attention to detail that gives our games the deep and intense atmosphere that so many players have found so compelling, and so we have had to seriously scale up our art team in order to bring the same level of detail to Arkham City, which is about 4-5 times bigger than 'Arkham Asylum.'"
He added that players will get a sense of continuity from the end of Batman: Arkham Asylum as you will begin Batman: Arkham City with many of the same core gadgets that you unlocked in the first game.
