Anyway just updated my license will go this weekend to Lake Ontario with few friends just to fuck around with my old rod
And next weekend will go camping to Killbear park, so will try to buy a new one before that. Anyone had luck at Georgian Bay?

solid choices.

a suggestion - you can get some reels with an additional spool. this comes in handy if your reel gets and tangled and shitty or if you want to carry two active line choices (guage, type, etc). i love having that option. you don't need to gut your wallet on a reel, but it is worth getting a good foundation with a few options if you can afford it. you might want to ask the bass pro guys about what choices you have.

So I went fishing with my friends last night..
(note to myself: next time you go fishing don't get wasted, and maybe you will actually catch some fish)

evening or night? night fishing is always a shit show. too dark, too many small sharp things and rat's nest tangles - even if you manage to stay sober...

Bought this boat for 65 bucks actual value is around 110. It's a for 4 people so should be plenty enough space for myself. It's not the greatest boat by any means, but all I need is something to fish from in a small lake while camping. Imo for the price it's a good buy

Looks like it's only good for 2 by the looks of the picture.

it's 9.5 feet long and 4.6 feet wide, I suppose 4 could fit, but it wouldn't be comfortable. But it doesn't matter to me I bought it for solo fishing

Anyone know good fishing spots? Do you know what parks are good for fishing?
I will be going to arrowhead in the end of June. Love that place, pretty good for fishing too. The only place I know closer to Toronto is lake Simcoe

I have a place on simcoe so I know it well. I have fished on lots of other lakes but not enough to recommend any of them.

Last time I went there around Innisfil, finding where to park was a bitch there are lots of private properties and roads with dead end. After driving around for 45 minutes or so I found some marina parked there and that was my fishing spot. Caught one small catfish, not much to brag about..

You were really close to my place. There is no shore fishing around there, and it's too shallow anyways. If you want to know about fishing in that area check out www.cooksbayfishingboard.com
