Default Explosion in Toronto

So, what was the deal with the explosion last night? Do they know how it happened? Did any of you feel it? I heard it sent rumblings around the city.

I'm too far west from the city to have felt anything. But yeah, people were pretty scared.

Yup, it was pretty big. Luckily no one was seriously hurt. House's were rocked and windows were broken by the blasts. I think we were pretty lucky though. It could've been a lot bigger.

I was working the night shift so didn't hear/feel anything. Nothing happened to our house or our neighbourhood, thank God. I heard from colleagues at Sunnybrook's ER that quite a few people came in with respiratory symptoms from smoke inhalation, some with major and minor lacerations and bruises ... I also heard the sad news that a firefighter passed away but I haven't heard that anyone else did.

A horrible, horrible incident.

I drove past that area about 5 mins before it happened. It would have tipped my van over for sure.
