EASPORTS COVER ISSUE

Hey gang...

I think most people know what happened to chicago blackhawks Patrick Kane? quick info if u don't: him and his cousin was coming home in a cab and the fare was 13.80. dude gave 15bucks and the taxi cab driver gave back 1buck and said he didn't have 20cents..patrick than started punching him ! yes..over 20cents..the dude makes like 800000 a year! he didn't even tip him..

anyways.. he's slated as cover of NHL2010.. i think personally, this will hurt the sales.. what an embarrassement to the league and Easports. I've personally buy every single Ea sports game that comes out..every year.

let's say it was .. NBALIVE 2010 AND THE COVER WAS.. hmm. Bosh or Turkoglu.... and they did the same thing..i'm not saying Bosh and Turkoglu would go insane over 20cents but let's say did they..would this change your mind in buying the new edition this year? or you wouldn't care.. damn.. EAsports cover jinx continues eh?

I doubt a lot of people would care.

not sure. it's a pretty low thing for anyone to do. If he was my favorite teams top player I'd probably stop watching. I almost always over tip expecially in cases where my pay level far exceeds the workers.

Assuming the court system and league punish him appropriately I'd possibly continue watching but I'd never view that player in the same light or vote for them as an all star. Hopefully the league would ban him from being on the all star ballot for life.

It was really stupid. Driving back from a charity event with a driver who did not know who Patrick Kane is and choking him over 20 cents while telling him he is Patrick Kane.

Apparently this whole thing has been overblown. The attorney for the cabbie (not Kane's attorney) has come out and said that the media has gone way overboard, and that it will "absolutely not" not be a felony charge.

"It was not really a robbery. That is probably a large distortion of what happened."

So... I'm not going to buy the game, but only because the newest console I have is an N64.

Possibly (ok, probably), but it still sounds like it wasn't as big of a deal as it was initially made out to be.

It wasn't robbery it was assault (and stupidity) and I'm still buying the game as well.
