what do you guys use to download music? I became dependent on limewire, then youtube converter, but that's just not efficient. I tried downloading music using torrents but I could never find a song I wanted. is there a specific torrent site you use to download with large selection, or any other method? help!

I just always find a Youtube to MP3 converter now. It's really fast.
The most popular ones I think are shut down but there are still plently that work. I've been using Audio Thief recently. |

and there are so many songs not documented in those crap data bases. What if we want a song from the early 20th century? sometimes you're forced to...
either way, it's a new world, pirating practically everything is up now, and considering they make more money off other ventures, i.e gigs, it's basically free advertising, better for them. itunes is apple being greedy yet again, they take a cut you know.. |

In the Philippines, they have a law now that they can arrest people who illegally download copyrighted materials. They are the first in the world to do such thing. The Philippine government are colonizing the internet and this law (called Cybercrime Act) is worse than PIPA and SOPA. On this Act, it includes libel, and people who criticize or bash an individual (particularly gov't officials) on the internet like on your personal blog or social-networking site. Other parties who click the "Like" button could also be grounds for libel.
Anyways, it's not illegal to download in Canada as long as it's only for personal use, am I right? |

I use Headphones to manage and download all of my music for me: https://github.com/rembo10/headphones
It then downloads what I want from NZBMatrix and Waffles.fm. |
