I'm not too much of a fan of Batman Movies actually.

Also, that trailer could definitely pass for a horror movie. :haha:

You actually want to just copy the URL. You don't want to embed it.

For example

If the URL is...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=YRjpfMHB2IE

The value is whatever is after the v=

So then you put [yt]YRjpfMHB2IE[/yt.]

Minus the period of course. :guitar:

Who's in "The Watchmen" and what's it about? :confused2:

It's a comic book movie by the same writer of "v for vendetta" and the director of "300". No one of note is in it, but there's some recognizable faces.

Yes!!!!!! By far the greatest superhero of all time. I'm actually re-reading the Killing Joke right now, as it is possibly the greatest comic ever written.

As for the movie, I believe they want it to be more of a horror film because the Joker himself is all about random senseless acts of violence. I think I read Nolan say he sees the Joker as the shark in Jaws. It just cuts through scenes. And I'm glad, because if anyone has read the Killing Joke, it's a frightening, yet brilliant comic.

I'm more interested in what direction they will take with Harvey Dent. I think, at least with the way they are marketing it, they're taking the Batman: Year One approach as him not being a complete, complete villain, but more of a psychological villain/hero.

I remember reading Alan Moore's "The Watchmen" as a graphic novel when I was a kid.... it was awesome. I'm looking forward to the movie.

Taz 06-30-2008 06:35 PM

Can. Not. Wait.

Ball Don't Lie 06-30-2008 10:13 PM

Yeah its gonna be amazing. Its just a question of when to go so we dont have to sit in the first row and crank our necks like we had to with superbad

Claudius 06-30-2008 10:23 PM

The Joker is my favourite villain because he shows that fine line between genius and insanity so well. I have to see it.

maltmonger 07-01-2008 05:14 PM

Yes. I'm looking forward to Hellboy II as well.

IggyPosterizes 07-05-2008 03:25 PM

One of the few movies I would actually go pay and watch

Can't wait, RIP Heath, great talent just beginning to shine.

Can anyone shed some light on the rumor that Heath apparently locked himself up in his hotel room for over a month to prepare for this movie?

The MVP of West Hollywood 07-19-2008 01:30 AM

It's all kinds of awesome

That is all

Aar_Canada 07-19-2008 12:46 PM

Dark Knerds are lined up everywhere.

Taz 07-19-2008 12:51 PM

The hubby called in sick yesterday ... we went to the midnight screening and it was 4 a.m. when we got home. That movie is complete and total awesomeness.

FR33RIDE 07-19-2008 04:15 PM
