Default This Crazy Weather

It's insanely warm today - in Southern Ontario at least. It's 17 degrees right now. I've been smoking outside without a jacket, after weeks of freezing my plums off. Nick Aveling of the Star, has this take...

Week of wacky weather

You can almost see her, if you squint hard enough: Mother Nature passed out in a snowbank with lipstick smeared across her cheek and a half-empty bottle of whiskey by her side.
Yes!

...in St.Catharines according to the Weather Network.

WTF is going on?

I think it's cooler in my house than it is outside.

Merged.

We should buy a tennis net for times like these, so we can fly down to the park, set it up and get a game in.

It's not the dogs, it's the rabid owners.

The crazy wind just woke me up! Hark the howling!

On the plus side, at least the rain we had last night melted the snow.

SEVERE GUSTY WINDS ALONG AND BEHIND A COLD FRONT.

A STORM SYSTEM IS MOVING ACROSS NORTHEASTERN ONTARIO WITH A FAST-MOVING COLD FRONT DRAPING SOUTHWARDS FROM IT. THE RAIN AND UNSEASONABLY MILD TEMPERATURES ARE COMING TO AN ABRUPT END WITH THE PASSAGE OF THIS FRONT AS IT ROARS ACROSS EASTERN ONTARIO AT SPEEDS OF 100 KM/H. WIDESPREAD WIND GUSTS OF 90 OR 100 KM/H ARE OCCURRING ALONG THE FRONT AS IT SWEEPS ACROSS THE LOWER GREAT LAKES. SIMILAR CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR ALL OF EASTERN ONTARIO BY EARLY AFTERNOON AS THE COLD FRONT RACES ACROSS THAT REGION. WINDS IN EXCESS OF WARNING CRITERIA WILL LAST FOR A FEW HOURS BEHIND THE FRONT AND THEN EASE SLIGHTLY BUT WILL STILL REMAIN QUITE STRONG FOR MOST OF THE AFTERNOON. THESE WINDS ARE CAPABLE OF FALLING TREES AND BRINGING DOWN HYDRO LINES AS WELL AS LOCAL DAMAGE TO SOME STRUCTURES. ENVIRONMENT CANADA CONTINUES TO CLOSELY MONITOR THIS SITUATION. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST PUBLIC FORECASTS FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
