I had a small email conversation on MySpace with Danny a few years ago in the wee hours. He was loaded after a party. Thrill of a lifetime.

Word is that the short-list to replace Sheen on the show consists of....

Jeremy Piven

Woody Harrelson

Jerry O'Connell

They're going to try to replace Charlie? Rest in Peace, Two and a Half Men.

Although Woody Harrelson as Charlie would be entertaining to see...

But is the replacement actually taking over the same role? They're gonna be Charlie?

I see that failing.

Only way I see it working is if they somehow get Sheen to come in and do one last far well show so they can properly kill off his character.

Woody Harrelson's in movies...why would he move to television?

And Jeremy Piven would be a great choice but he'll obviously be limited being on network television. He's not gonna be a version of Ari Gold on the show.

He was on ER for a couple of seasons at the end. Last time I saw him was in the Britney Spears episode of Glee.

He's been around a bit. But he'll always be Uncle Jesse.

Not a bad choice. Was it his soulful redition of "Oh Stephanie" that got ya? Or maybe when he sang "Forever"?

Have mercy.

+1 Woody Harrelson, very interesting.

And DAMN, I didn't know there was another thread like this. I should've searched it before making one. My bad.

I don't know how TV show executives, directors, producers or whatever can replace such a major character with another actor and just act like nothing happened. What happens is they go along with the same story with when the old actor still was the character. Awkward.

It also happened to Will Smith's mom in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Yup, it did. And that worked out ok, but she wasn't a major character really... A new Charlie is like replacing Will or Carlton with other actors playing the same character.

Who knows what they'll do. Doesn't look good though.

Good thing I only watch it when there's nothing on

Yeah, I was gunna say maybe she wasn't a major character but she is in every episode and Will's mom soooooo I didn't type it.

Anyways Two And A Half Men isn't even that funny. I admit I do watch it to when nothing is on but it's overrated. The "laugh track" I'm sure they have is used way too much for unfunny scenes. Allen's always doing something stupid and clumsy while Charlie sits there with a drink in his hands and says something quirky about it and the laugh track goes crazy. Still a goofy show though that I watch when there's nothing else to do...

The only show I can bother to watch with a laugh track is Friends. Even Big Bang is getting old quickly, I hate it when they use the track on the unfunny jokes.
