Shit, and here I thought having my wife come down the aisle to a song I wrote for her was cool...

Clearly we missed the mark.

Am I the only one that thought that doing this in the church was just a little bit wrong? I mean, by all means, do it in the reception hall, but for the ceremony in the church? Eeek.

Some things are pretty sacred. I would say this is (marriage). I understand you want to liven things up, but doing that in the church is pretty disturbing.

Well, I'm not the least bit religious, so I'll just agree to disagree.

To me it's not even remotely disturbing and clearly the minister didn't seem to have a problem with it, as even she clapped at the end. I mean churches do have choirs and gospel music that get people just as animated.

+1

i suppose it's all about the church you go to and the way you practice. i can't understand why anyone would get married in a church in the first place, but that's just my set of beliefs, and in the end that's what it comes down to. if the couple and the congregation they belong to are fine with it, what business is it of anyone else?

meh seems pretty American and boring to me.

It's a hack job to ther first dance that was so popular a while back.

Not a good way to ruin a wedding.

Now, center court of a raps game at half time in the playoffs, game 7..... complete awesome.

My wife said the same thing to me about a big public display, however...

I dated this clingy, psycho a few years back and we went to Boston and were sitting in Fenway Park and I couldn't figure out why she kept watching the video scoreboard and not the game. Turns out she was hoping I'd propose to her there...

Jesus.

You should have dumped her on the Fenway big screen.

I was proposed to during a Broadway musical. Suddenly all the actors on stage stopped the play, looked to the audience and sang my favourite song. Then I was dragged onstage and proposed to. Confetti came down, everyone clapped... My parents were even in the audience without me knowing.

I threw up. Then left him.

And this never really happened.

HOLY fuck, I was totally buying that hahaha

I saw a pretty insane proposal like that..I'll find it and post it.

I'm not a big fan of the big public displays, this one is insane.

Oh and I wasn't the least impressed with this entrance. Everyone seems to love it...Meh.

I get HUGE secondary embarassment watching this. If I proposed this way, I would hope that the answer would be no haha

All I know is, if you're gonna go crazy with a huge public proposal, you'd better be DAMN sure that your chick is going to say yes.

Otherwise, you end up looking like a huge dumbass. But the act might be attractive to other girls, so you may have no problem finding a new one.
