I want to start eatching this show. Will have to go back and watch earlier episodes.
I am gonna watch the arrested development series for a third time, and my wifes first time. SHe is not enthusiastic about it, but she is gonna love it.

I finally get what everyone's talking about. Even though I have an irrational (and major) fear of zombies, I found myself watching the entire Walking Dead marathon yesterday. Couldn't stop after the first five minutes and I've now watched every episode.

What a show.

His wife is one lucky chick (given the circumstances). Not a bad choice of dudes.

Rick Grimes is awesome, though. And I love that in real life he's British. Didn't know that.

The Walking Dead Breaks Records

Link

Quote:
Last night's Season 2 premiere episode of AMC's The Walking Dead delivered more adults in the 18-49 demo (and 25-54) than any other basic cable drama in TV history.

With 7.3 total million viewers (11 million total for the night), the episode "What Lies Ahead" drew in about 36-38% more than the Season 1 average.

"The Walking Dead is one of those rare television programs that reaches both a core genre fan as well as broad audiences simply looking for a great, character-based story. We're so proud of and grateful for the amazing team on both sides of the camera who works so hard and is so committed to making this a unique programming event," said Charlie Collier, AMC's president. "That The Walking Dead is now the most watched drama in the history of basic cable is staggering, just like our zombies."

I do enjoy The Walking Dead and I think it's the only show (besides Gene Simmons Family Jewels, God help me!) that I watch on a regular basis. Personally, I've always liked the genre. I am a bit perplexed by it's popularity. I mean, it's something that's been done a billion times in film and the love triangle is kinda lame. Actually, I think it'd be a better show if that just disappeared.

I'm not huge on zombie films or anything zomie for that matter. But The Walking Dead has me hooked, i think the dialogue for the most part is quite good and the acting is good as well. I started watching in the middle of last season and i loved it from that point on.
