I've only watched the first two episodes on the first season of The Wire.

I'd better catch up!

Breaking bad will end next season (and it should) and Mad Men needs to end anyway. Wondering what will happen to Walking Dead now
Quote:
AMC is home to critically acclaimed series - “Mad Men,” “Breaking Bad” and “The Walking Dead” - and seems curiously unwilling to pay for them. The network fought “Mad Men” creator Matthew Weiner over budget issues and recently fired “Walking Dead” producer Frank Darabont for reasons that remain unclear.

Just started watching Louis - it's Louis CK's show.

It's not bad, but I got a bit bored. Wasn't expecting that.

Maybe i am the last to hop on this bandwagon. But...
It always Sunny in Phillidelphia is straight hilarious. I cant believe i never watched this before. With premises like
SMoking crACK TO get welfare,
Fucking your friends mom because he fucked yours to get back at him,
Letting teens drink in your bar because you think its your civic duty to keep them from drinking on the streets.
And this is just the first 2 seasons..LOL

breaking in coming back...pretty good comedy that didn't deserve to get cancelled after 7 episodes

Quote:
Fox looking to bring back Breaking In after basically canceling the show earlier this year.
The network is working on a 13-episode order of Christian Slater’s sitcom, which started strong in the ratings then dropped off during midseason and didn’t receive a second-season order. The decision is part of a larger deal with the show’s co-creator Adam F. Goldberg, who’s also working on a sitcom about growing up in the 1980s that sources say the network wants, but studio Sony Pictures TV is bundling the new project together with a revival of Breaking In (sort of like how you can’t get The Godfather box set without being stuck with Part III). The news marks the latest development in Slater’s TV comeback, which finally gets the actor a second season on a show. He started with NBC’s My Own Worst Enemy, then went to ABC’s The Forgotten, and then to Fox’s Breaking In.

So I'm watching sons of anarchy with my girlfriend and we just finished the 4th episode.

We both aren't really that into it.

For those that like the show is it worth pushing through? Is there a slow start and then kaboom?

I feel no attachment to any of the characters whatsoever, so it's hard to give a fuck about anything.

I've heard good things from it, but that being said most of it was from young people who rarely clear the fog around their heads.

I'd say that if you don't care about the characters by now, you'll just be annoyed by the other episodes. I watched the first and second seasons, and some of the dialog in the second season was so bad it made me laugh.

I recently watched the first season of "The Mighty Boosh". That's some weird stuff.

Just finished season 1 of Friday night lights. The character development in that show is awesome, I find myself genuinely attached to probably 6 or 7 characters. Some of the acting is wack (Lyla, Riggins) and the script can be cliche at times but other than that the writing is impressive. The football scenes are AWESOME.

Episode 7 of Entourage was...bad...to say the least. One of the most cliche and played out plot twists ever at the end there, and completely over the top. Whatever, my feeling is there will be a huge cliffhanger ending at the end of the season that will force people to go see the movie.
