Agreed. I actually can't believe I was able to sit through season 2 and especially season 3. I think I might be done with that show.

I'll be watching Game of Thrones now since I've been hearing so many good things about it.

I've been staying away from Game of Thrones because I'd like to read the books first.... good to know that people are saying good things about it.

I watched TrueBlood S3 a little while ago and it was kind of "meh". I don't think that it ever really grabbed me to begin with but characters like Eric and Lafayette pulled me in. It's a shame that they didn't do more with Eric's maker Godric... I really enjoyed that brief storyline.

One thing I WILL say about Trueblood... I think it's the only show that I've ever seen that's made me turn away from watching because I'm so disturbed. lol.

If I may make a suggestion - watch GoT before you read the books. Both will be great either way - so do as you will - but that's my suggestion.

Not sure if you bought the books yet but I just wanted to let you know that Chapters has a sale going right now. If you buy all 4 of the books you get 1 of them for free. Not sure if you knew about that or not.

I actually went and picked all 4 of them up today. Glad I did because I won't be able to wait for the next season. The season finale tonight was pretty awesome

That's why I purchased them. I'm assuming the next season won't air until next year and I can NOT wait that long.

I dunno guys. For me personally, I love the show, but it sort of jumped the shark last night. I never realized it was more or less a "fantasy" genre. The last part was pretty GHEY. But its based on the book though, so I cant complain. The second last episode seemed more like a finale than this one.

That said, its well written and well-acted show with some serious drama. Im probably gonna end up buying the books too. Grr.

No one has the patience huh...lol

The key thing for this show is moderation.

If they don't do too much or too little of the fantasy, it will be tremendous.

I actually knew that what happened was gonna happen and I thought it was kick ass.
