I watched the first 2 seasons. Love the show. Season 3 I think is about witches may give it a go.

I don't know if they can top Season 1 and 2 though

I never really watched South Park. Didn't have comedy central, etc. growing up. However, the past few days I've watched 10-15 episodes. Great show. Been watching the more recent stuff. Imagination Land = awesome.

The last 4 episodes of the current season were amazing, Game of thrones/black friday trilogy and Kanye/Hobbit episodes had me tearing up

the GofThrones trilogy was awesome but I think I like Imagination Land more. Haven't seen the Kanye/Hobbit episodes.

I've seen some interesting ones like when Kyle and the kids go to Canada to get Kyle's bro; insecurity - bane(s); Stan's dad buys a blockbuster; world war Zimmerman; cartman is a psychic; the awesome-o robot; junior cops; among others.

My fav that I've seen so far was when Cartman faces off against the Hippy invasion

Is there a connection between House of Lies and House of Cards.

I can't find one on the internet, but in addition to the similar titles, their are other similarities. The constant asides/monologues. Two "type A" personality couples (divorced in House of Lies), who are driven to succeed regardless of the consequences to others. They each have their teams. Movers and Shakers who can get shit done.

And then in House of Cards Frank gives the aside after talking to the young african american oil/gas lobbyist bout their being "two games" the money game and the power game, and how he's in the power game and doesn't respect anybody in the money game. House of lies being about the money game, house of cards is about the power game.

I've only watched 4 episodes of House of Cards so far.

A really good series that I've been enjoying is Masters of Sex, story based on the real Masters & Johnson, fascinating stuff. Really enjoy watching Lizzy Caplan in this.

Also newest season of Sherlock has been excellent so far!

Love that show, it started again? Or are you refering to season two on CityTV? I think season three starts later this month on HBO.

I'm really looking forward to watching this show. Both of those guys are fantastic actors and the premise of the show is really intriguing with their characters.

In terms of House of Lies vs House of Cards, its not even a comparison in terms of quality TV. I see the similarities bjjs is referring to, but after watching a few episodes of House of Lies I grew tired of it. Too many corny unfunny scenes that didn't add anything to the plot, and characters you just don't care about. House of Cards is a really good show with a lot of depth, and it's really fun watching how Spaceys character is rising into power. Cant wait for season 2.

Caught it last night, what a great first episode. Matthew Mcconaughey is one of the best actors in the game.

Season 4 Shameless just started last night. Frank Gallagher is one of my all-time favorite tv characters.

Watched the first episode of True Detective. Very dark and a little slow starting out. Interested in seeing where it will go.

Has anyone watched any of Brooklyn nine-nine? I read this morning that it won best comedy at the Golden Globes. Hadn't even heard of it before.
