Just finished watching Breaking Bad. Spectacular show. The comparisons to The Wire are ridiculous though. They're just completely different. (Although I maintain that The Wire is still the greatest program to grace modern television.)

Started watching The Newsroom...Really into it. Jeff Daniels is just awesome.

I don't know anything about anti-virus shit. I'm lazy when it comes to computers. I can learn stuff if I have to, but I just hate it. Computers annoy me, despite the fact that I have to use them so much. I just roll with what my bro showed me how to use. Maybe he picked it because it's simple for me. I don't know.

And I wouldn't be surprised if McAfee is super shitty. I had a ransomware situation earlier this year. I just picked up my older laptop googled the situation and found a blog with directions about how to instal the malware bytes stuff necessary to remove it.

the best anti-virus is having no anti-virus. a lot of viruses are created to be attached to anti viruses when you update, download, etc...

Unfortunately a lot of viruses come from ads on pages. Going with nothing is risky. I have the free AVG. And I have been known to look at saucy pages. It is ample protection.

There's no comparison between the two

Given the choice, I'd both watch and recommend the wire before breaking bad any day of the week

I keep planning on watching the Wire and I never get around to it. But I've yet to find someone who watched at least all of the first season and dislikes it. So many people I've talked to online or IRL have listed it among their favourite shows of all time.

Less is more. More or less. But mostly less. Or should that be more?

I was a huge fan of Homicide:LOTS and wanted too much for the Wire to be just the same. So I never really committed to watching it, but always plan to do so at some point.

the characters are so real, it's hard to believe that you wouldn't be bumping into these guys if you ever headed down to baltimore. what separated it from all the other homicide shows was that you learnt what the villains were doing, and how they at times became the victims. it was an awesome balance between the kids on the street and the cops trying to figure out how they operated. omar and bubbles were probably the two best roles every created!!111!1

spoilers, don't read, not really spoiling just don't want you to read between the lines

im not feeling 10 episodes, they got to go 12 episodes, I would have like to have seen more of the character development of certain characters in episode 9 before episode 9 happened

That was a serious twist if you haven't read the book.

What do the Stark's have now? Arrya, Sansa, Bran and the little bro? Jeez! & Jon Snow technically, forgot about him.

Bran has some crazy shit going on with him though.

I don't like the Stark's. No one in the family was/is strong enough to win a war or lead an army. Don't know how they expected to get their homeland back and dethrone the King.
