probably because he's on SOA now. so far, it's a wise choice since he's pretty bad ass on SOA

I think the general consensus tends to be that Dexter peaked with the Season 2 finale, but personally, I enjoyed the over-the-top performance of Jimmy Smits, and to a lesser extent John Lithgow. This season looks likes it's going to be missing that character. I loved Luck but I just don't see Jason Gedrick giving me the type of performance that will entertain me while I wait to see what happens.

I don't disagree bjjs, though at the same time, the show has over-relied on those characters a little bit, along with the plot manipulations that came with that. With only this season and next left to go, they need to get back to the sort of deeper character development that made the first two seasons strong, in order to wrap it all up properly.

I don't have the whole body of work but I have to agree. I finished the Lithgow season a couple of months ago and quite friankly have no desire to go on with the series. The first two seasons were at its best as it really channelled Dexters deepest fears

give Smith a chance...it took me a few episodes to adjust to his style...now i think he's brilliant (actually prefer him over Tennant )...i would place him in the top 3
1- Baker
2 - Smith
3 - Tennant
he's quirky, funny and dangerous all at the same time...i'm pretty sure he's the youngest actor to ever play the role and i find that interesting because he brings a certain level of energy (youth) to the table but also manages to bring an underlying sense of wisdom (character is rumored to be approx 900 years old ? ) that past actors have failed to deliver

i see him as a very quirky/brilliant David Bowie with a razor sharp wit...and oh ya...bowties are cool

well I can't really comment on the pre-2005 era. CE was pretty solid and was interesting. Tennant is like Batman though, he's just too awesome. Is it just me or did they decide to spend a lot more money on the show (ie. technological side of it). The new look of the daleks is kind of cheesy - they look like toys. In series 5-7 are any one of Tennant's allies ever showed (ex. Jack/Face of Boe, Martha Jones, etc.)? I'm guessing they're not

Lol...the Daleks have always looked cheesy (with a plunger and gravy whisk for weapons, how can they not ? )
From what i can recall, Jack etc etc are not shown...but there are so many new characters it doesn't matter imho
That's the great thing about the show...every regeneration brings new aspects/characters/villians to life...and every new companion reveals a new side to the Doctor

I've watched this show for any years my friend and i've learned to roll with each regeneration...and if you get a chance, i highly recommend watching episodes with the Fourth Doctor...still the best Doctor ever (imho)

"Classic Leafs Hockey" on Leafs tv. With the lockout in place it's kinda fun pretending it's 1993 all over again. haha

I wish Raptors tv could do the same and over time re-play the entire season when the raps went to round two of the playoffs.... so much fun.

build up episode. Apparently Sutter may only go up to season 7 if not earlier. He said after this project he will make a prequel series on the making of the First 9 with all new actors. I guess every series lasts so long.

First 9 might be cool to see. I love Katy Sagal, and will miss her on it though. Although this season I don't much like her OR Jax' chick. The doc is annoying.
