Default Best Hip Hop album of 2012

I know the year isn't up yet but all the anticipated albums have been released already

EP's are fine too but mixtapes don't count

1. Nas - Life Is Good
2. Lupe Fiasco - Food and Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album
3. Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid, m.A.A.D. City

I'm new to making threads outside of Raptor related ones, since it was a question and the other is an appreciation thread i thought maybe it belonged on its own but if it should be moved, that's cool

nah dude. This is perfectly fine as it's own thread seeing as it's a separate topic on it's own. Feel free to start more non Raptors threads.

put me down for Sinitus Tempo - journey. It's hip hop enough.

Not sure if anybody has heard of Macklemore, and if you haven't I suggest you Youtube him immediately, but I think "The Heist" is one of the better albums this year.

Everyone I know jumped on his bandwagon, all I see on facebook are links to his videos. I am not gonna lie, he is pretty good, better than that other mainstream garbage for sure.

I've been listening to his music a lot lately. His story-telling is unbelievable.

I remember when Macklemore had a substance abuse problem. Haven't heard the new album but I'm happy for the guy's come up, deserves the attention for sure.

Sadly after listening to it time after time I'd say that it was one of his worst albums. Not sure if I would call it the worst but it was close.

I dont have a huge problem with his beat selection and stuff but he just comes off lazy to me in this album. Obviously it's unfair because he's released countless classic tracks but I just was not feeling this album at all. He has lines here and there. I simply cannot get into that album. The only track I bumped off that album was 'nasty'

My top 3 albums is hard to choose. Illmatic - Nas, Doe or Die - AZ, Lifestyles ov the poor and Dangerous - Big L.

(cant give you 3 albums from this year, havent even peeped alot of them.)

he does have some fillers on the album

Tracks I play regularly: 2,3,5,9,10,12,13,14,17,18,19(bonus),
Tracks I play occasionally: 1,4,6,15
Tracks I skip: 7,8,11,16

I have an odd taste with Nas,I really like the I Am album. NSOM2>NSOM1
