I was wondering that too but I think it's not being considered since it's not really a pure "gaming console". But there were/are some REALLY great games on PC.

dreamcast could never be the best.
it failed. it had no game support and it was released to early.
i owned it. i loved watching porn on my tv via the browser disc but sega rushed it too much.

when the fuck is xbox going to have a browser?

sony revolutionized gaming. Cutting edge games we have never seen before.

virtual boy actually lead the way for the products we see today that immerse gamers in the game. i remember picking one up when kmart was closing down. fucked up my eyes but was fucking entertaining.

putting all the nostalgia bullshit aside(nes, snes, n64, ps1, etc... are all garbage compared to todays consoles... get real people), ps3 is the best console available because of its game support and features. xbox 360 still has a better price point and better graphics but is lacking the features that its computing power can easily support.

When the dotcom boom was starting to take off. Back when I was 7 years old i was playing Doom and Wolfenstein on a computer run on DOS. I was lucky that my mother was going into programming at the time. Lots of kids envied me lol I have to say PC.

But if we're just talking consoles, SNES wins because of Mario Bros.

I used to play one called Stunt Island. Were you did all kinds of stunts and video and created maps for them. Is the Same?

I still have what I think is all the old pc leasure suit larrys. like 4 or 5 or something.

Got the new one that came out for the xbox as well, it was corny but fun. Liked Ron Jeremy as the porn fairy

i agree archie. I said the same thing earlier.

You know the one thing that really annoys me with ps2 now though? Ever since i bought a new LCD TV, the visuals of the ps2 look like complete shite. I wish there was a cable i could buy to somehow improve the look of the ps2 and get it back to when i had it hooked up to my tube television.

oh well.
