The Trinity Church in Boston always sticks out in my mind.

Here's a real one. It's still impressive to me.
The building itself, I like it, I love those windows, but I didnt notice it was built next to an old building. Thats a crime. I dont have anything againts modern buildings but they should be built where they belong. Never ever mix em, with very few exceptions.

This is the Tower of Hercules. Its actually a roman lighthouse from the second century after Christ, and the oldest one in the world thats still working.
It has a lot of legends. One of them says it was there were Hercules buried the head of the giant Gerion after beating him in combat.
Its in the North West of Spain.

actually bel, the crystal and the old part are the SAME building. It's an extension to the museum.

Perosnaly, i like the diversity - but i appear to be in the minority here.

I like it, fancy.... went there a couple of weeks ago... very impressive.

have to disagree about the concrete though.... i'd be happy to see every concrete building torn down..... except for Robarts, since it looks like a Turkey. All concrete buildings that look like giant birds are exempt!

hehehe, the Kio towers make me remember the movie of Santiago Segura " The day of the beast" (Santiago is the fat vampire with beard in Blade2 and the richman with beard and a very small dog at the auction in Hellboy2)

4 tallest buildings in spain were just finished at the same time in Madrid.

That terrain was actually where Real Madrid used to train and they sold it for millions. It was the biggest immobiliary deal in the history in Spain (and quite corrupt too). Thats the reason Real is the richest club in the world with Man United.
