I hate working out at the Y. Too crowded with high-school kids. Oh well $50/mth aint that bad compared to $33/bi-weekly at 5 star.

$50/month. Never heard of a gym that costs so much.

Why do you go to these mainstream gym's? There are so many smaller gyms with good equipment often cheaper and not nearly as crowded

WHERE ARE THESE CHEAP GYMS!!!

looked everywhere in Scarborough (by everywhere i mean the 3rd page of google) and couldnt find anything under 45$/month,

Theres a snap fitness down the street from me, a 24/7 place. It isnt staffed 24/7 and its size is literally 2 Rooms in a strip mall. Roughly the size of my living-dining room in my shitty little apartment. No change room no showers. 24/7 access for 15-20 machine and weights up to 60lbs. No barbell, no squat rack. No power rack. And its 45$/month!!

Ya point is, gyms around here (scarborough) aint cheap, and you can get some really bad gyms for a lot of money.

At the YMCA. Adult. When I was with Premier, I was only paying $19/bi-weekly cuz I was a student.

The only thing about it though is that they don't have yoga class, and pool. But I'd like to check non-mainstream gyms once I'm bored of working out at my current gym. Any recommendations on underground/indie gyms in Hamilton?

I pay 40 bucks a month for my Y. good enough gym, one ball court, swimming pool+sauna, change rooms, complimentary towel service, a lot of game rooms for the kids. there used to be a snack shop but they took that down for some reason. all in all it's a good deal. i've been going there since I was 5.5. I also now live only a 10 min walk away or a 2 minute drive away. 24/7. it's an awesome place to go when the inevitable uneventful toronto friday and/or saturday night come along. only good part of this city really

LA Fitness also isn't bad price wise.

I'm paying $30 a month there. Huge facility. Ball court (even though it attracts only the most dramatic douchebags of all). It's a funny place cause most of the people there look like they're taking part in a gym fashion show.

All in all decent value.

Anyone uses Precision Big Time here? I went to Popeyes last week for a weight gainer and the lady who was working there recommended me this. I'd say it tastes good compared to six star crap.

Need:

1. Cheap whey
2. Lots of HGH
3. Whatever steroid Brad Pitt uses.

If i can get it all in one place, sweet. open tryouts are in 3 months.

Grip always becomes a problem for me when I'm doing 250+ for reps. I can go for 10-15 reps with straps. Without straps only 5-6 times before the barbell slides off my hands. I don't want to use straps though because I want to build up my grip strength at the same time.
