per week i play 3 days of sports, 2 days of lifting and 2 days of cardio. Right now I'm at 180lbs after 3+ months. so i think i can add a lifting day and take away a cardio day.

my two lift days were chest and arms. now that i've got some good muscle definition i've decided to replaced arms with back because i read that you don't really need to dedicate a day just for arms as arms are a secondary muscle that gets used a lot in other exercises. so for my 3rd lift day i was thinking shoulders, so I'm just wondering if anyone has a good, full shoulder workout regimen? So my week would be made up of chest, back, shoulders, 3 days of sports and 1 cardio day.

Also last question. i googled weight height ratio and found that for someone 5'11, the proper weight should be 165lbs, which kinda surprised me cuz i set a goal in my head that i want to get down to 175lbs cuz that's what i thought i used to weigh before i got fat. is it just me or does 165 seem too skinny, no? what then is a good target i should strive for?
forget weight to height ratio. that's a useless measure. body fat percentage is a good indicator. most gyms will measure it for you

Don't do them anymore, but my dragon boat had a fitness test and I held it for 4min 7 seconds. When I was lighter last year I did 4min 45 seconds, but I usually do around 2 min and then side planks for 1:30 when im working out

is it becaues my quadriceps are reallly weak which causes my knees to take more of my body weight/impact on jumps than I should? My left knee hurts so much, Ill admit, i never do squats or use the leg press machine. After playing basketball, my knee just gave up on me. This pain usually goes away but how can I prevent it from happening again?

definitely strengthen your quads to take pressure off your joints. do some squats man! glutes for the sloots, quads for the twats, hammies for the punani

I was slaking for little more than a year and lost around 15 lbs of muscle. ( I gain muscle very fast but i loose it very fast if I don't work out)
And recently started working out again, My routine is:
day 1 Legs, Arms, shoulders, Abs
day 2 Rest
day 3 Legs, Chest, Back, Abs
day 4 Rest
And than repeat
everything 3*8 (except abs) Sometimes I add pyramids to my routine if I feel that my gains are slowing down.

How do you manage to workout that many things in one workout session? I can barely manage to do Bi's and Tri's in one session lol.

For me at the moment:

Day 1: Shoulders and Traps
Day 2: Legs
Day 3: Chest
Day 4: Bi's and Tri's
Day 5: Rest
Day 6: Back
Day 7: Rest (I'll throw in Legs this day sometimes)

I don't do abs lol.

Well my workout is around 2-2.5 hrs, and i do 3 exercises per body part ( I switch them up so different parts of muscles are worked out)
Been doing this routine for years works great for me

looking on picking up some creatine and whey protein tomorrow. Have to go to GNC by my house, was thinking BSN's Syntax-6 as the protein powder and Cell Mass as the creatine. Would you guys recommend these two or know any cheaper alternatives, want to get them tomorrow for sure.

Lost a little weight over the last month but have been working on my discipline of eating healthy atleast, haven't drank soft drinks for over a month and all I eat is food made from scratch, time to add the bulking agents before I start working out hard over the next 3 months.

Synths 6 and cell mass are just plain awesome.
Make sure it's cell mass 2.0.
Also, I'd recommend not buying from gnc. They rip you off like crazy, and you can buy online for half the price.

I took Syntha 6 for 4 months and it was great. I decided to go back to Gold Standard though because it has a little less sugar, cholesterol, and fat. Not a huge difference though.

I'm taking 1MR has a pre-workout also.

canadasupplements.com is good... they usually have next day shipping.
id recommend bodybuilding.com though, you'll have to wait about a week, but you'll save more money.

Insider, what is your bench at currently? Me and my workout partner are stuck at 185. We can do about 4-7 reps but it's been like this for about the last month or two now.

225 is where I stay. I work out alone, so I won't be doing anymore.
I've been using the cables and machines lately... I'm not trying to get my chest any bigger. Just want it defined.
