This exercise works out your abdominal area quite a bit. Even though it mainly targets lats and shoulders.

I've been having trouble bulking. Been stuck at 164 for almost a month now. With my work schedule I get off late and eat dinner very late and then I end up skipping breakfast because I wake up in between breakfast and lunch time.

Get yourself some bagels and some peanut butter and start carrying a bag of almonds with you wherever you go.

breakfast doesnt have to be before 9 am. breakfast is your first meal of the day. if you wake up at 10:15 and eat at 10:30; thats your breakfast.
lunch can just be eaten a bit later. make sure you eat breakfast, that is by far the most important meal... for both bulking and losing weight... breakfast is the key.

Gained my first 10 pounds from bulking over a little over a month. A little fat packed on me for sure but I'm feeling good

Gonna be a fun next couple of months if I stick to this diet and workout schedule.

My legs are lacking quite a bit. I'm thinking about doing legs twice in the week and going to the gym 6 times a week, INSIDER style.

I think its best if you hit every body part twice a week. Frequency > volume

I hit each body part twice a week, doing the PHAT program which is 5 days a week. My back has progressed nicely, finally have some muscles there now. My legs which were genetically big already have gotten bigger. It's getting annoying as they're a tight fit with my pants

Hey guys,

In September I was the fattest I've ever been in my life at 190lbs. I'm 5'11 btw. So i started working out. My workouts have been more cardio intensive cuz i want weight loss more than i do building muscle.

per week i play 3 days of sports, 2 days of lifting and 2 days of cardio. Right now I'm at 180lbs after 3+ months. so i think i can add a lifting day and take away a cardio day.

my two lift days were chest and arms. now that i've got some good muscle definition i've decided to replaced arms with back because i read that you don't really need to dedicate a day just for arms as arms are a secondary muscle that gets used a lot in other exercises. so for my 3rd lift day i was thinking shoulders, so I'm just wondering if anyone has a good, full shoulder workout regimen? So my week would be made up of chest, back, shoulders, 3 days of sports and 1 cardio day.

Also last question. i googled weight height ratio and found that for someone 5'11, the proper weight should be 165lbs, which kinda surprised me cuz i set a goal in my head that i want to get down to 175lbs cuz that's what i thought i used to weigh before i got fat. is it just me or does 165 seem too skinny, no? what then is a good target i should strive for?
