bicep curls get the girls.
arms are always going to get the most notice since they are always out in the open.... so that makes sense.
i spend about an hour to an hour and a half on bi's a week. haha, i'm way over doing it.

Normally for me if I ever neglect a workout it would be arms. I like pull ups and leg excercides and who doesn't like chest exercises? I find arm workouts redundant

Bi's get a lot of indirect stimulation from other exercises.

if you want to up your weight, you'll need to take a weight gainer.
Quickmass is good. expensive though, but works.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I have a crazy fast metabolism, I can't keep weight on at all despite eating quite a bit. I could eat fast food and junk for weeks and not gain a pound. In the last 3 years I've probably gained like 20 pounds.

if your username is referring to what I think it is then there's your problem. stoners have a very very tough time putting on mass

That was me until I hit my late 20's. I was always able to eat whatever I wanted and stay very thin, and I was very active. Then I started gaining weight. Good thing is, I can also lose weight pretty quick.

I've been like that before I started smoking weed. It's my genetics, my dad is the same way. Plus I dont smoke all that much anymore, and I don't even buy that logic. My buddies who smoke a lot still can put on mass regardless due to their genetics.

Yeah I'm pretty active too, I'm 22 now so my metabolism is bound to slow down eventualy. It's better to have trouble gaining weight than losing it, that's for sure.

I'd recommend doing some calculations:

How To Count Calories To Gain Weight | LIVESTRONG.COM

Looking at height, current weight and figuring in your BMR, you should get the # of calories you need eat per day. As long as you consume the right # of calories/day, you should slowly gain weight no matter what.

I'm 22 as well. Best thing to do is have a meal at least every 3 hours. Doesn't have to be a big meal. It could just be a protein shake or something.

In all likelihood you're underestimating your total daily calories. You can eat junk food and not gain weight.... it's all cals in vs. cals out when it comes to manipulating mass.

re: the arm stuff.... I always liked my "Arm Days" (bis and tris) and did them pretty regularly in the past. These days I still hit tris with chest and shoulders but I don't do bis much at all... probably explains why my curls have never been anything special.

2 parts that I HAVE been improving lately? Shoulders and Back. Hitting those hard and it's paying off. Getting some more width and depth on my upper body. My goal right now is to achieve a 50" chest. Not too far off....

Yes. Reason why most people quit is because of the soreness. Once you get past that stage really is when u are results

ok. i'm weirded out. since the beginning of uni, I went through three phases. I bulked for 3 weeks, did nothing or sporadically excerisised for 3 weeks during midterms, and cut for two different sections, once for 3 weeks, once for 1 week so far (currently). it went like this:

bulk, cut, midterms, currently.

i've gained a grand total of 10 pounds, and according to my scale, my BF percentage has remained the same at 19 percent. does this not seem odd? is my BF scale broken? how can I have gained 10 whole pounds, while bulking for only 3 weeks, eating normally for 3 weeks w/o excersise, and cut for the rest? and the scale's telling me these 10 pounds were 5 pounds of muscle, and 5 pounds of fat? this makes no sense...

can someone try making sense of this?

I don't think a scale can be all that accurate for those things imo. Not sure, unless you have some expensive scale.
