it's not just height age weight. actually age has nothing to do with a proper body fat percentage. it literally means what percentage of your weight is fat. so really, height and weight would be factors. bone density, muscle type, so many things. the only real accurate method of measurement is an underwater test, since (i think, not sure) the fat would float as opposed to the rest of your body or something like that. even that's only 90 percent accurate.

there are some scales, or devices, which send electrical (slight) pulses into your body and again i believe (not sure) that the pulses travel through muscle, and bone, etc, but not fat, so they can measure it. however this is normally very inaccurate and can be off by as much as 4 percent depending on the time of day of the measurement, how much water is in your system, how much food, what kind of food, sleep deprivation, and more. I have a scale, probably isnt accurate as people I know have told me I look much leaner than a 17 percent dude, but who knows. I just stick to this number. Until I get a new scale to replace this 10 year old dinosaur haha

anyone with experience using waxy maize? i started incorporating it into my after-workout shake a couple weeks ago and have noticed gains already. just wondering if during a cutting phase you'd still use it in your shake, or if it's just for bulking.

waxy maize helps get the supplements you mix it with (ie creatine, protein, etc) to your muscles faster.
after a workout, your muscles are depleted, and they crave nutrients... timing is key. getting your nutrients or supplements right away, and delivering them to the muscle is super important and using waxy maize aids in this.
cutting or bulking, waxy maize will help.

waxy maize is pretty mush useless on its own, but when mixed with a supplement, thats when it does its trick.

thats probably because I haven't been to the doctors in years

I've used the electronic scale where you put your height, age and gender. kept getting different results daily. 8-14% range in 1 week.

I have the same one. Right now I'm at 12.9% at 159 pounds. I have to get back into the gym. I have to get my weight back up to 175 again.

I was rail thin until I hit my 30's.

6'1 180lbs, and I was too thin at that weight. I had trouble putting on weight as well, I was about 160 in HS.

Yeah, I have lots of time to fill out so I'm not worried lol. Pretty comfortable with my weight, but each year I tend to go on a weight gaining cycle in the winter where I put on 5-10 lbs and manage to keep it on.

I feel ya. I had a very late growth spurt and was skinny as hell too.

Was 5'10" when I got my license at 18 and I think I was around 180lbs back in 2000.... 160 when I was in uni.

Only problem with those is that they're notoriously inaccurate. Calipers are still the best way unless you have one of those high-tech water-displacement pods.

I bought this today

Tastes so good. This is pretty much the only supplement I'll be taking. No whey, creatine, or any of that stuff.

theres definitely whey in there...
no offense and its all personal preference, but i had a sample pack of that stuff and almost couldnt finish the one shake, it tasted so bad... and it didnt mix well either.

you want a good tatsing protein, get BSN - Syntha 6 - chocolate.
hands down the best tasting protein powder on the market.

It does and that's why I don't need to take anything else.

Honestly this is the best shake I've ever tasted in my life. Also, it mixes better then anything else I've tried.
