I love stuff like this that really juts "The Rational Animal" up against its own foibles. On an intellectual level, you know it's not a serious risk, but relatively few would have the courage to walk out on that ledge.

I would absolutely try it.

Imagine no harness LOL I was actually hoping not to hear that there was one, just so I could see the reaction.

But yeah, if there is a safety harness, why are you so scared? Unless you're afraid of heights, it would be a great story to tell your friends or even your grandkids or something. Wonder if there are pictures allowed?

At $175 though I'd rather just chip in another $100 and go skydiving again.

i get sweaty palms just thinking about it

i'm scared shitless of heights, but hasn't stopped me from doing things like propelling, rock climbing, zip-lining and cliff diving. i'm in! who's buying?

What I find kinda interesting is this: We know that accidents do happen but they usually occur on say, a white water rafting trip like those on the Ottawa River (which I've done, ffs!) or at some far away bungie jumping place. Imagine if something happens right in downtown Toronto.

"There's the 'Dome! Hurry, we're almost late for the..."

*SPLAT!*

"...game."

Oh and I don't like the idea, architecturally-speaking, of those things jutting out from the roof.

i remember when i was working in the falls, there was a dude that would tight-rope walk across the hotels. i remember thinking the same thing, so many children watching and all it would take is a gust of wind from an area known as a wind tunnel. much like the CN tower, they wouldn't be doing it if they weren't secure. i'm sure they'll have a secondary device/harness to insure nothing happens.
