![]() Well personally I have a HORRIBLE case of insomnia, and have all my life, and I personally hate it when people say something stupid like "just go to bed earlier" as if its so easy, or "wake up earlier" ya, because I'll just go about my day on 3 hours sleep staring off into space because I'm only semi-conscious.
Personally, I have a fan on at all times, as the noise helps me sleep, also if its not working, I have a ton of white noise things on my ipod that I just put on its dock and let it play over and over and they knock me right out, they honestly work better than sleep meds (I've takin every kind of em) and way more natural, as I don't trust a damn thing in pill form. So I'd really say just give them a try. Also avoid drinking anything caffeine related at least 3 hours before you plan on sleeping. And if you really can, avoid it all together. Also beer helps me sleep lol, always another option, and I don't mean getting hammered or even drunk, but like 2-3 usually makes me nice and sleepy. |

This, I recommend! It's a pretty well tolerated compound that is produced endogenously, and has been used regularly in people with sleep disorders and/or jet lag (side effects may include restlessness, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, cramps, and irritability). |
